This weeks episode was titled “Dodging Devil Donkeys,” and it was my favorite episode of the season so far. In this episode, Rob decides to form a dodge ball team and participate in a professional dodge ball tournament. Chanel also has to prove her toughness in order to be turned into a Wild Grinders character. Also, there were a lot of Wild Grinders moments in this episode, and I love the Wild Grinders, so it was great. This re-cap ISN'T a substitute for actually watching the show, so if you missed the episode, head over to http://www.fantasyfactory.mtv.com to check it out!
The episode starts off with Rob, Drama, and Big Black sitting in the Fantasy Factory, and Rob was explaining how he "farted himself awake" in the middle of the night. Drama didn't understand how you could wake yourself up from a fart, but Big Black understood completely, haha.
The opening credits roll and when we get back, Tracy, Rob, Drama, Big Black, Chanel and Big Cat are playing a friendly game of dodge ball. It was all fun and games until Big Cat pelted a dodge ball across the factory towards Tracy, but somehow Chanel got in between Tracy and the ball and she took it hard, right to the face.
Rob - "We should maybe get her a face mask."
Chanel - "My face is like NUMB!" Chanel - "Is my makeup really fucked up?"
Rob - "No, your makeup is fine. It looks like you got a sun tan!"
After that, Rob goes up to Tracy and asks if he, Tracy and Chanel have been on a team yet. Tracy says no, and Rob tells Chanel to come over and be on their team. Chanel walks over, and at the exact perfect time that Rob begins to kick the dodge ball, Chanel happens to walk by, getting slammed in the face once again! Everyone is cracking up in the background, but you can tell that last ball hurt pretty badly. Chanel started to cry and Rob apologized and promised he did not mean to kick it at her face. Chanel walked away and they all decided that she needs to wear a face mask.
Big Black - "You David Beckham'd her right in her grill! This is not a game for blond haired girls."
Chanel walked over and everyone welcomed her back.
Chanel - "Yeah, you almost blew my fucking head off!"
Rob huddles everyone together and says that he brought everyone to play dodge ball to see if they had any skills. He explains that one of his friends has a full dodge ball league and tournament, and he wants to create a team to participate in one of the tournaments. Chanel says that they will need a few more people to form the team and Rob says they will get some.
Rob - "I believe that we are going to put together one of the greatest dodge ball teams in the history of man kind, because we are a bunch of strong guys, and one girl, who we gotta do something to protect that face because that thing is straight up and down a magnet for balls."
In the next scene, the crew is in the DC Lounge, about to watch something on the projector. Rob says that they are about to world premiere the 1st cartoon that Tracy and himself have put together for the Wild Grinders. It's called "The Lost Skate Spot." We see a small clip of the cartoon, and it's amazing and adorable. I might be a little bit bias because I am a HUGE Wild Grinders fan, but I believe that the cartoon will be extremely successful. Wild Grinders are going to go far.
Rob went around the room and asked everyone what they thought of the episode. Big Black said he thought there should be a little fat kid who can’t skate. Chanel said that she thinks the cartoon could use a girl. Rob didn’t think that was a bad idea. He said the network executives have actually already approached Rob and Tracy about a girl skater, and Chanel said it should be someone like her.
Rob - “The real life Chanel is a little too wimpy. I mean we just had you shed tears over a little game of dodge ball!”
Chanel - “You wacked me in the face from two feet away, with a ball!”
Rob - “You put your face down there!”
Rob proceeded to tell Chanel that the only way she could be a Wild Grinder is if she proved her toughness. Chanel agreed to that, and she seemed really excited about it.
There is a commercial break, and when we get back Rob brought the entire dodge ball team in to a huddle. We were introduced to three new dodge ball team members, Sterling, Geoffrey, and Paul. You probably haven’t seen too much of Sterling yet, but If you’ve ever watched Drama Ustream late at night while he is in the studio, Sterling is usually with him. Also, Sterling is about to become a household name as he is one of the stars of Rob’s new show Ridiculousness, which airs June 16th on MTV. Don’t forget to watch! Everyone should know who Geoffrey is, but if for some reason this is your first time watching Fantasy Factory, Geoffrey is the lawyer of the Fantasy Factory, and he has an office up in corpo. Paul is the political consultant and he is also the Executive Director of the Rob Dyrdek Foundation.
Anyways, Rob huddled everyone up and said that he had the official rules of dodge ball, and in the official rules it calls for eight teammates, and that was why Paul, Sterling and Geoffrey were now on the team. Rob explained the rest of the rules of Dodge Ball to the team. (I won't go over them because I'm sure you remember them from either gym class or the hilarious Ben Stiller movie, Dodgeball.) Rob said he set up some drills to test everyone's skills, and he said before that happens, they needed to get a helmet on Chanel's "pretty face." Rob comes back with an awesome black and pink helmet/face mask for Chanel.
They started with the first drill, which was a speed test. Big Black had the stop watch, and he timed as Big Cat, Sterling and Chanel did their runs. They got pretty good times. Then it was Drama's turn. For Drama's run, they added some hilarious music, and it went perfectly with how slow Drama was. Rob and Sterling started making fun of how Drama runs and it was hilarious! They decided to give Drama another shot.
Rob - "Young! Reckless! And I don't care if you run like a wounded donkey!"
Drama attempted to run fast and normal, but he ended up looking ridiculous and he fell at the end. Everyone was cracking up and Drama asked Big Black what his final time was. Big Black told Drama that he forgot to hit the button and poor Drama was never able to see his final time.
Next were accuracy drills. They were all to hurl the dodge ball at the UFC punching machine that Dana White gave Rob as a gift. Like last time, everyone did great...except for Drama. He missed the machine completely and hit the garage door.
The next drill was measuring how well they could catch the ball, and Rob ran off and came back with a professional Dodge Ball launcher. This machine launches the balls super fast, and you have to try and catch it. I don't think anyone knew that Rob actually had this machine, because when he turned the corner with it, everyone groaned and was a little freaked out.
Chanel - "That is going WAY too fast, like that can knock my head off!"
That was followed by random shrieks from Chanel as the balls kept flying towards the team. Chanel went to catch a ball, and her hand hit it while the ball kept flying backwards.
Chanel - "I'm gonna break a nail! I don't want to do this!"
Rob switched places with Chanel, and she loaded the balls into the machine while Rob went to try and catch some. Rob said that everyone had to catch a ball and then they can stand down. Sterling, Big Cat, Paul, Chanel, and Big Black caught one.
Soon, the only person that was left was Drama. It was just Drama and the machine, and Rob started flinging balls at him one after another. Rob must've launched at least 15 balls, and Drama couldn't catch one of them! It was too funny! Until this episode, I never realized how un-athletic Drama really is, haha.
After the drills, the team was in a circle, and Rob said they needed to think of a team name. Rob thought it should be something with donkey, since Drama looked like a wounded donkey while running. They started brainstorming ideas, and soon "Dodging Devil Donkeys" was born.
Rob - (To Big Black) You've got double B's, we've got triple D's."
In the next scene, Chanel is sitting at her desk and Rob calls her in to his office. Rob explains that he came up with the perfect way for Chanel to prove her toughness before she can become a Wild Grinder. Rob says that in an episode, the new girl Wild Grinder character will get tested by the other Wild Grinders so she can prove that she can be part of their crew. Rob pulls up a picture on his screen of the LA Dodger hill and tells Chanel that he wants her to "bomb" that hill to prove that she is tough. Chanel said that she can do it, but she definitely needs to cover her face. She says she wants some practice, so she gets her helmet, elbow pads and knee pads on and starts rolling down some ramps in the Fantasy Factory. She is doing great, and Rob tells Drama the plan to test Chanel's toughness.
Drama - "You might as well just drive a car at 30mph and have her jump out of it."
Next, Chanel decides she needs to practice with a little more speed, so Big Cat gets into the go-kart and pulls Chanel on the skateboard into the foam pit.
Chanel - "I don't wanna break anything!"
Rob - "Well it's not the end of the world if you do."
Chanel makes it most of the way up the ramp and kind of steps off it at the top. To me, it was a success. She made it up the ramp and kind of into the foam pit. Chanel banged her shin on the top of the ramp, but she was a trooper about it.
Rob - "You almost went in the foam pit!"
Chanel - "Almost! I got scared!"
Then Chanel explained how bad her shin hurt after slamming it into the ramp. It left a huge bump.
Chanel - "Now I can't wear a skirt tonight!"
Rob - "I refuse to believe this is happening right now! We are not talking about skirts right now after we almost went in the foam pit."
In the next scene, Rob's truck pulls up to the top of LA Dodger hill. There is a huge mat set up at the bottom, and Rob mentioned how much steeper it looks when you are actually standing at the top.
Rob - "Here we go Chanel. You take it into that wall of pads, you are officially animated for life."
Chanel said she was nervous, and didn't even want to think about how much speed she would be getting. Rob told her she would be going really fast. Chanel went off and came back dressed in a full suit. She looked like she would be able to take a fall no problem, it was similar to the suit Danny Way wore in season one, when Rob pulled him on the T-Rex to break the land speed world record. Before Chanel took off down the hill, Tracy showed her the sketch of what her Wild Grinder would look like. Chanel looked super excited about the Wild Grinder, but she was still scared about facing the hill.
Big Cat went to the starting point with her and gave her some advice, while everyone else was waiting at the bottom. Chanel took off and she did awesome! She stayed on the board the whole time and made it to the bottom of the hill, where she slammed into the mats!
Rob - "You are officially a Wild Grinder and I think more than anything, you are officially tough!"
Chanel - "That character looks so dope! A girly girl when she goes out at night, but then when she's kicking it with the boys she's like tough and rugged."
Rob - "She's...12. She's not poppin bottles in like a mini dress."
Chanel - "Well..she goes out to like I'm sure birthday parties on a Friday night..."
Haha, that was a great scene, and I was so proud of Chanel for facing her fear and proving her toughness!
In the next scene, we see the Dodging Devil Donkeys, all decked out in their uniforms. The uniforms were awesome! Black, with the Dodging Devil Donkeys logo on the front with a black and white devil donkey in the middle. The team was warming up and stretching, getting ready for the big tournament. Rob gave the team a little pep talk.
Rob - "Right now, as a group of dead serious Dodging Devil Donkeys, this team looks like an athletic group that not only is gonna SHINE on this dodge ball championship tournament, but we're gonna look good doin it!"
Then, Rob said he has a special treat and he brought out their mascot, an actual live donkey, dressed up like a devil, with horns and all! It was so adorable and it definitely boosted the team morale, even though they were already super pumped.
The team left for the dodge ball tournament, and when they walked in with the donkey, and everyone was staring at them. The MC went over the rules and basically said anything and everything counts. If someone gets injured, there are no substitutions. The first round was the Dodging Devil Donkeys VS. What Would Jesus Dodge. Yes, that was seriously the name of the other team, haha. They were all pumped and when the round started, it got serious.
The Jesus team was anihilating Rob's team. They hurled the balls at them SO HARD and all of a sudden someone launched the ball directly into Chanel's face with such force, that it knocked her helmet off. They took a short break and Chanel was visibly upset, crying. They actually chipped her tooth. Chanel quickly got over the pain and was just really pissed off.
Chanel - "My teeth are already fucked up man! I'm gonna fucking kill somebody!"
Everyone was unsure whether Chanel would continue, but she didn't let the team down! Chanel is tough as hell, and she got right back in the game, this time, without a helmet. The Dodging Devil Donkey's started "HeeHaw-ing" at the other team to try and throw them off, but it didn't work. Right then, Rob jumped up, and took what looked like a HORRIBLE slam to his nuts. Big Black picked Rob up off the floor, and that was the end of the road for the Dodging Devil Donkeys.
Chanel - "Are you okay? Are your nuts okay?"
Rob - "I think we learned a lesson right now. Just because you dress fancy, and you got a cool name and you bring in your very own mascot of a devil donkey, doesn't mean you can avoid getting hit in the nuts super hard."
Rob - "We gave it all we got. We got a chipped tooth, a blown out set of nuts, and a broken spirit."
In the next scene, the crew is in the DC Lounge, ready to watch Chanel's Wild Grinder make her first appearance. It was an adorable short, and at the end of this blog, I will provide the link to the entire short. Chanel did great, she has an awesome cartoon voice. At the end of the cartoon, Chanel's character was greeted by each member of the Fantasy Factory, all animated into their own Wild Grinders character. It was so awesome!
Rob - "Everybody got Wild Grinder-ized here today, and we watched a dainty little flower go from being a full fledged wimp to being a tough girl. And the #1 thing that says tough? That chipped tooth."
After that, they all chanted "Girl Power!" but then Drama brought it to their attention that it was a little awkward with all men chanting it along with Chanel, haha.
That was the end of the Dodging Devil Donkeys episode of Fantasy Factory! I absolutely loved it! Like I said, I am a huge Wild Grinders fan, so it was so much fun to see so much of the Wild Grinders featured in this episode. It was nice to see Tracy Tubera get a little bit of screen time, since we only usually see him in the background. I also liked that Chanel got her chance to shine, and of course, it was hilarious watching everyone train and compete in the dodge ball tournament.
On Monday, May 2nd, it is the Best of, Bonus, and Behind the Scenes episode, which I LOVE every single season. I love seeing all the behind the scenes clips and some other scenes that didn't make it into the show. Don't forget to tune in! 10:30/9:30pm Central on MTV!

Season 4 Episode 3 of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory
Monday's episode was titled "The Bleeding Frogs." This was a hilarious episode! Rob and the gang decided to form a metal group with The Athiarchists, a group that tours the country and plays out of their truck.
The episode opens with Rob skating one of the longest manuals of his career. If you don't follow skateboarding, and don't know what a manual is, it's basically where you are rolling, and the front wheels of the board are off the ground, but the tail end of the board doesn't touch the ground. You are balancing while rolling on only the two back wheels of the board. He skated down the blue ramp in the corner of the fantasy factory, ollied up over a couple of stairs directly into a manual. It lasted from the ollie, around by his office, all the way down another ramp, back towards the ledge that leads onto the ground. Then he fell, but it was still amazing and impressive.
Rob - "Just ripped off the LONGEST manny of my life and couldn't make it!"
After that, the opening credits started rolling and the show opens with Rob, sitting at his desk, playing the Wild Grinders game on his computer. If you want to check out the game, go to www.wildgrinders.com, and it's under the games section. I'm not gonna lie, it's pretty fun. The scene cuts to corpo, where Big Black is on a phone call, and loud metal music is blaring in the background. Everybody crowds by the window - Geoffrey, Chanel, Big Black, Tracy and Charlie. Big Black goes back to his office and calls downstairs to Rob to tell him about the metal band outside. Rob checks it out on the security camera and heads upstairs to watch with the rest of the crew. Rob decides that if they are going to drive all the way over to the factory to put on a show, the least he could do is invite them inside.
Rob goes outside and runs up to the truck, rocking out. He gets the group to stop playing, and asks them about what they do. They basically say they are a mobile rock and roll stage, and Rob invites them in. They roll into the factory and the crew come downstairs to listen. Big Cat is in his cage, looking a little bit scared, and Drama pokes his head out of his office, with a confused/shocked expression on his face. Big Black, Rob and Tracy are rocking out the hardest, and when the song comes to an end Rob introduces himself to the band.
Rob asked how they ended up in front of the Fantasy Factory, and the group explains that they got kicked out of Anaheim, and they thought the next best thing would be to pull up in front of the FF and play for Rob. They said their goal in life is to be on the road 365 days a year. Rob asks if they can ride along a bit and freestyle some metal. They agreed and the crew hit the road.
The truck pulls up to a Starbucks and fog is seeping out through the cracks in the door. The door goes up and the group starts rocking hardcore. Some people at Starbucks look annoyed, some look confused, and some are loving it. Even the barista's came outside to dance! Chanel is rockin in the front seat and Rob, Big Black, and Drama are in the back of the truck with the band. The song comes to an end and Rob thanks everyone and introduces the group as "The Bleeding Frogs."
Rob - "What a Bleeding Frog is, is when you see it in the forest and you throw a stick at it, and you accidentally hit the frog, and the frog bleeds - Bleeding Frog."
They take off down the street and we see a clip of the group rolling through Downtown Los Angeles, playing as they are driving. The truck pulls back into the factory, and you can tell everyone had a blast. Rob explained to the group that "Bleeding Frog," just came out of his mouth. He said it their destiny to start this "Kill-Hop" band called The Bleeding Frogs. Everyone agrees.
Rob - "Chanel can rap, Big Black can rap. Drama can...get a cowbell or something.."
Then Rob says if the band is down for this, he will take their mobile stage and give it a full makeover. He will make it the best mobile stage that has ever existed. The group is thrilled, and Rob puts them up in a hotel for awhile while he gets to work on the truck.
In the next scene, Rob, Drama, Big Cat and Big Black are playing with a frisbee. Rob points out that Big Black has some moves, and Big Black says that he could move better if he had pants like Drama. He was referring to the skinny jeans Drama was wearing, and said they are just like a football uniform. Big Black says he admires Drama for wearing them, and says he wants a pair.
Big Black - "There's no place in LA that's going to sell me a pair of skinny jeans in a 54."
Rob - "This is LA"
Big Black - "I'm gonna try and find a pair"
Rob - "You gotta be prepared to put your pipe on the side, you know what I'm saying?"
You could already tell where this conversation was headed. It was sure to be a classic one.
Rob - "Imagine PERFECT Hot Dog! Two meat cheeks and a fuckin dog in the middle!"
I was cracking up at this point. Then Rob went on to talk about how "rockers like to rock their side pipe good and hard," and then how Big Black could come in with his hot dog. It was so funny!
Big Black said he has never seen a large man in skinny jeans, so he is going to start designing some.
Drama - "I am proud to have him (BB) on my team! Team skinny jeans."
Big Black - "That's a team I want to be on right there."
After that scene, they cut to a commercial, and when they got back, Rob was in his office and Chanel, Drama and Big Black walked in. Rob told all of them that he had SO much fun when they were cruising around singing metal in that truck, but the embarrassing part is that none of them look metal at all.
Rob - "We all have to look like the grungiest, most beat up, hardcore, piss stained, muddy, sleepy drunk, throw up, nasty cigarette juice, sleeping in a creek somewhere - right next to a weird old bucket like you're a bum, that you just threw up in, and drank because you were so parched...that's what we need to be."
Drama - "Where do you go to find dirty 'I puked in a bucket and drank it,' sort of clothes?"
Rob - "You go to Melrose."
Haha, it's so true, and with that, the group heads off to a store on Melrose called "Forgotten Saints." The store specialized in grungy metal-ish clothing and artwork. They went inside and Rob explained to the woman at the store what they were looking for. The crew was able to find all sorts of unique things for their look in there. All of their outfits turned out amazing! (you'll have to watch the show to see what they looked like.) Big Black mentioned how everyone looked all rocked out with their skinny jeans, and he was going to get a pair for himself.
Rob - "What are you going to do about the top half? Maybe like a nice spandex shirt?"
Big Black - "Yeah. Cut the nipples out..with two tassels so I can roll em,"
And then Big Black proceeded to show us how he would roll the nipple tassels. It was so funny! Then the lady at the store chimed in.
Lady - "Yeah, but that's metal. You have to pierce them in there."
Big Black - "Woo, that's kinda tough."
You could tell Rob thought this was a GREAT idea, he was all for the nipple piercing.
Rob - "Look how serious the frogs are, the LEAST you could do is get your nipples pierced!"
Big Black - "I am committed to the frogs, but my nipples are not committed."
This scene was so hilarious! After that, there was a commercial break and we see Rob and Drama sitting in Rob's office. He got a call down from Big Black and BB said he was working on his skinny jeans line and he wanted to show Rob a pair. Big Black comes to the window and he is wearing these black skinny jeans with white paint splatters all over it. Rob was a little taken by surprise when he saw BB in those jeans.
Rob - "This has nothing to do with size, but from right here, it looks the same way the backside of a large cow looks."
Big Black - "Dude, this is hot in the streets right now!"
Big Black said he had a bunch of different styles, and Rob and Drama head upstairs to Big Black's office. Big Black puts his hat on, resembling the style Drama is wearing his hat, and Big Black asks "Who do I look like right now?"
Rob starts laughing because Big Black and Drama look a lot alike with the skinny jeans and hat.
Rob - "I hate to say it, but you guys look like twins right now!"
Big Black goes behind his jungle changing screen and he puts on a new pair of skinnies. He comes out in an all black pair and Rob comments on his "Side pipe." Rob goes up to Big Black and pokes his bulge. Rob and Drama are full on CRACKING UP at this scenario. As if the scene wasn't hilarious enough, Rob starts singing and dancing -
"I got a bun on my right, a bun on my left, and a big ole dog in the middle!"
Then Big Black started dancing along with him and it was SO FUNNY!
Drama - "We're getting lost in this man's crotch, we gotta calm down!"
Rob - "I've never met a man with a hot dog. I can't take my eyes off it!"
Drama - "It's one thing to notice it, it's another thing to COMPLIMENT it."
Big Black - "The bun's universal. It's the meat that really matters."
Rob - "I'll tell you what. It's okay to fish around a guy's bun. Just don't touch his dog."
Drama - "FISH AROUND IN HIS BUN?"
That ended the scene and then in the next one we see Rob and Drama in their punked out outfits. Even Meaty and Beefy had spiked collars and a Bleeding Frogs t-shirt! It was SO CUTE! Rob told Drama he needed to pick out a wig, and he had a table full of different wigs. Rob put on a long dark brown wig, and Drama tried a blond wavy one. Drama looked like a chick. After that one, he tried a dark curly-haired wig and it looked perfect. Big Black walked into the office with his head piece, a red bleeding frogs shirt with the nipple cut out and a tassel hanging, and some black skinnies. He looked incredible! On top of all that, he had the ass piece cut out of his jeans to show a little bit of ass. It was hilarious!
Big Black - "When you're a rocker, you gotta show T&A."
I was laughing so hard at this point. Big Black started shaking his nipple tassel and Rob started dancing. So funny!
Chanel called Rob's office from the front desk and said that the rest of the Bleeding Frogs had arrived. Rob told her to bring them in, and he gave them some Bleeding Frog patches to pin onto their clothes. It was time for him to unveil the new truck. Rob brought the truck in and it looked incredible! Brand new paint job, black with the logo and a giant skull painted across. It was so awesome. The inside looked great as well, and Rob said there was one more thing. Rob went over to Big Cat and asked if he wanted to join the Bleeding Frogs. Big Cat replied "Sure," in a very hesitant voice. He exited his cage and Rob handed him this incredible frog costume! It was so adorable and Rob spray painted blood all over it to turn it into a "Bleeding Frog." Big Cat didn't look too happy about it, but it really did look so funny and it fit perfectly.
After that, they all loaded in the truck and drove to their destination. Once inside, Rob thanked The Athiarchists again for giving them the opportunity to form the Bleeding Frogs, and then it was time to Rock and Roll.
They pulled up to a line of people waiting for something on Hollywood Blvd, and they got the fog machine started. The doors went up and Rob introduced the band. They started full on rocking out and it was awesome. Rob was singing, Drama had the cowbell, and Big Cat was hopping around in front of the truck in his frog suit. Big Black got on the mic and was great. Chanel started rapping and she killed it. The ended the song, closed the door and drove off, and it was SO awesome! They were all so excited about how the show went. It went off perfectly!
Rob - "That was incredible! We might have to change our name to The Bleeding Frogs, and the Bulging Hot Dogs."
Big Black - "Dude..you can touch the bun, but don't touch the meat."
With that, episode 403 came to an end. It was such a hilarious episode! On Monday, April 25th, the crew forms a dodgeball team - The Dodging Devil Donkeys. It looks like it will be a good one!
Check out a sneak peek at mtv.com, where Chanel gets a little beat up with some balls coming at her face..and yes, I know, that sounded totally inappropriate. You know what I mean. Check it out! Also, if you missed any of the episodes from this season, they are all up on mtv.com.
As always, you can purchase Big Black's clothing at dowork.com, and clothes from Drama's brand, Young and Reckless at youngandreckless.com. Until next time...

Season 4 Episode 2 of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory
This episode of Fantasy Factory was SO HILARIOUS! At one point, honest to god, there were tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. The episode was about Drama becoming a "Man-Dime," which is basically a male who is a perfect 10 in the looks department. Also, Rob did some torc truck racing with Casey Currie. Don't forget, this re-cap IS NOT a substitute for actually watching the episode. Head over to mtv.com if you missed it on Monday!
I absolutely adored the opening clip. We all know I'm a sucker for anything Meaty and/or Beefy related, and the opening scene was Big Black and Meaty sitting at Rob's desk in his office.
Big Black (to Meaty) - "A couple years ago man, you were a stud! What happened?!"
Rob - "The moment that little bulldog (Beefy) showed up and he just went emotional. Sensi-pants"
Big Black and Rob went on to discuss how Meaty has been "replaced," or "out shined" by Beefy. Big Black explained how Meaty used to live the good life, flying on private jets, and having hot chicks rubbing all over him. Meaty got depressed and looked away, and then they cut to the opening credits.
After the credits, Rob walks over to Drama's office and Drama isn't in there. He asks Big Cat if he had seen Drama, and Big Cat says that Drama is at a dentist's appointment. Rob asked Big Cat how it could possibly take all day, since he has already been gone for four hours. Big Cat responds that Drama has been thinking about getting veneers, so it could possibly be about that. This was clearly news to Rob, as he explained how strange he thought that was.
Rob - "Have you ever seen someone with a mouth full of fake teeth?"
Big Cat - "I'd like to think if they were done right, you wouldn't be able to tell."
Rob - "Well, most of them aren't, and they look like straight human donkeys."
Rob said he would wait for Drama to get back, and when Drama came into the office, Rob was at his desk. Rob asked Drama if he was considering getting veneers, and Drama said he was. Rob said he had an issue with that. He said that since Drama was already so good looking, if he got a new set of teeth, he was afraid his life would change. Rob said people would start treating Drama differently and throwing free stuff at him. Drama said he didn't think it'd be that dramatic.
Rob - "You are just a couple moves away from a full fledged man-dime."
Drama - "Don't say that. A man-dime?"
Rob - A man-dime. A perfect ten in the form of a man; as the kids call them dime pieces, you are a man-dime."
Rob then went on to ask Drama about the veneers, and Drama said they give you a exact version of your teeth. He then pulled out his blackberry and showed Rob the wax version of his teeth. Rob started cracking up.
Rob - "Oh my god, you are going to be freaking gorgeous!"
After this, Rob got on one of those kicks where the ideas start flowing and he is basically unstoppable. He told Drama he can't stop here, he has to do a FULL makeover. He told Drama he could be come a model. Drama said he was pretty good how he is and he really has no interest in all the extra stuff. Well..we all know that Rob never takes no as an answer, and this was no exception.
Rob - "You are on a mission to become a man dime, and I'm going to help you. Project man dime is gonna change your life!...Women are going to love you and guys are going to want your mouth!"
In the next scene, Rob is racing a tiny little truck around the Fantasy Factory. Drama pokes his head out of his office and asks Rob what it is. Rob tells him that it is a torc truck, and he has one for everybody. Big Black and Big Cat join Rob and Drama, and Rob explains that they are basically Baja Trucks that are raced inside a track. Rob says he has a friend who is a pro racer, and he is going to let Rob race him. Rob is preparing by racing these tiny little remote controlled trucks around the factory. Chanel comes over and wants to try. We then see a montage of the crew racing these tiny cars all over. The cars seem indestructible. They are crashing into walls and ramps, and surviving without a scratch!
Rob - "I'll tell you what. These are fun, but it'd be a heck of a lot easier to drive a real torc truck."
Big Black - "Hellll no!"
Rob - "They are made EXACTLY the same way!"
Drama - "You would've DIED if those were real trucks."
In the next scene, Rob and Big Black are in Rob's office again, and Big Black is sitting with Meaty. Meaty is on his own chair, and BB is spinning the chair and singing "Rotisserie Dog, Rotisserie Dog." So cute!
Rob asks BB if he has ever noticed how messed up Drama's teeth are, and Black responds that he doesn't really look at a man's teeth when he is talking to him. Rob explains to Black that Drama is planning on getting veneers and Black had the same idea as Rob. He said that if he's going to go all out and get fake teeth, he might as well take it to the next level. Rob explained the term "man-dime" to BB, since BB has never heard that expression before.
Big Black - "Man-dime?"
Rob - "Have you ever heard of a dime?"
Big Black - "Dime piece.."
Rob - "What is a dime piece?"
Big Black - "A dime piece is a hot FEmale."
Rob - "You know what a man-dime is?"
Big Black - "A hot dude, I guess?"
Rob - "That's right!"
Rob says that he is the leader of "Project Man-Dime," and he asked Black if he wanted to help out.
Big Black - "Dude, if it's down to help a man's mouth? I'm in.."
They cut to a commercial, and when they get back, the next scene takes place in the Fantasy Factory. Drama, Rob, and Big Black are heading out to the dentist's office for Drama's veneer appointment. I have to say, this upcoming scene was the absolute funniest scene in the episode.
They get to the dentist's office, and the dentist shows them the before and after models of Drama's teeth. Rob tells everyone that he sees a slight "bucky-ness" in the after model, and Drama says that's his worst fear. We see a little bit of the process, and then Drama asks if he can sit up and take a little break. Rob and Black come in to see Drama, and immediatley start laughing. It's super hard to explain, but the way Drama looked with just his upper set was HILARIOUS!
Drama - "Do I look like Angelina Jolie?"
Rob - "LOOK at him! Is this a joke?! You're not making a face?"
Drama - "No."
Big Black - "You look like a BAD runway model."
Rob and Big Black couldn't stop laughing, and Drama was drooling all over the place.
Rob - "He looks like a Beverly Hills housewife."
Drama - "I don't want this."
Rob - "I hope a dime comes out of this because right now you went all the way down to a two."
This scene was SO HILARIOUS! My entire family was laughing so hard, and my mom and I both had tears in our eyes from laughing. Too funny.
Rob - "He's as ugly as he's ever been in his life!"
Big Black - "If I didn't know who you were, I'd give you change right now."
Then Rob turns to the doctor and says "Get in there and save him man. You look as inbred as you'll ever look."
SO funny!
Drama came out after the procedure and his teeth looked incredible. So much better than the halfway point. They left the dentist and then Drama was on his way to becoming a man-dime.
In the next scene, Casey Currie was at the Fantasy Factory, and Rob introduced him to Drama. He said Casey brought a mini torc truck to the Factory for Rob to practice with and this thing was so adorable. It reminded me of the mini gymkhana car, but it was obviously a little bigger since it was a truck, and it looked way sturdier. Rob started zipping around in the truck and then he went to thank Casey and he couldn't get out. Rob told Casey that Drama didn't believe in him, and then he started making truck noises.
Rob - "The reality of it is, sometimes if you sound like a champion, you become a champion."
In the next scene, it was time for the next step in Drama's man-dime adventure. Rob and Big Black entered Drama's office and told him it was time for hair extetntions, tanning, waxing and new gear. Drama said he didn't really want any of that stuff, and Rob said it would make him the happiest he'd be in his entire life. We saw a montage of Drama getting hair extensions, waxed, and spray tanned.
Chanel - "He needs to get the cover of GQ looking like this, straight up!"
Then Rob comes out in a french outfit and introduces us to one of his new alter egos, Le Pepe Le Pop. This begins Drama's photo shoot. Rob starts putting Drama in all these awkward and hilarious poses, with different outfits, and it was hilarious!
Le Pepe Le Pop - It's HOTTTT! It's MAGICCC! YESSS YESSSSS YESSSSSSSSSS!"
Le Pepe Le Pop asked Big Black to turn on the fan so Drama's hair could blow in the wind, and then we hear a huge fart.
Drama - "Did you FART into the fan?!"
Big Black - "I could've....pressures of the job.."
That was a wrap on the photo shoot, and everyone gave Drama a hug, except for Big Cat, who opted for a hand shake.
After the commercial, the crew was off to the torc truck track for Rob's race. Drama was still looking like a man dime with the hair extensions. Rob explained that since they are in the presence of a man-dime, it's only fair that Drama be the one to wave the flag to begin the race. The truck looked great, and it even had Rob's name on it. Drama waved the flag and the race began. It was a good race, Casey and Rob were both in 1st place at some point. Casey ended up winning the race, and then Rob told Casey that he is welcome to skate the factory whenever he wanted.
Rob - "First of all, I want to thank Casey, everybody that came out today, the man dime for giving me inspiration, big homie, the little rapper, weird guy, and everyone else involved here, thank you!"
In the next scene, Rob and Big are in Rob's office, and Drama comes in, looking like his old self again. Rob asks Drama where the man-dime went, and Drama said that being a man-dime kind of sucked.
Drama - "Dude, being a man-dime is really uncomfortable."
Rob - "Yeah?! Is THIS uncomfortable looking to you?"
And then Rob opened up Drama's portfolio of pictures.
Drama - "I'm bright orange."
Rob - "You're bright PERFECT!"
The pictures turned out hilarious, and Rob and Black decided that without the hair and tan, Drama drops down to a 6. Rob gave Drama the book and told Drama that one thing is for certain. For the rest of his life, he will always have a pretty mouth.
Rob - "You can walk a man-dime to the runway, but you can't force him to walk."
That wrapped up the episode, and honestly, it was way funnier than I could even describe in this blog. If you haven't seen it, please head over to mtv.com and watch it. They have full episodes up for viewing. They also have a hilarious deleted scene, where a model scout comes in to look at Drama before he gets his man-dime transformation, and she tells Drama everything that he needs to fix in order to be a perfect 10.
Watch Monday the 17th as the crew forms a heavy metal group "The Bleeding Frogs!" I'm sure it will be hilarious! 10:30pm/9:30pm central on MTV!

Season 4 Episode 1 of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory
Here we are, the beginning of a BRAND NEW season of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory. I am super excited that the show is back and I am also excited to begin writing my episode re-caps again. The first episode of season 4 aired Monday night and it was great. The episode is titled "Welcome, Big Black," and that is just what they did in the episode. They welcomed Big Black back into their life and into the Fantasy Factory. Just within this first episode, Big Black has already had some classic, hilarious lines. I can already tell that it is great to have him back, and the dynamic between him and Rob will be just how it was during Rob and Big.
There were also a few other really exciting things going on in the episode. I'll get to that in the re-cap. Don't forget, this re-cap IS NOT a substitute for watching the actual episode. There are hilarious moments that you can only understand from viewing the show, so if you haven't seen it yet, go over to mtv.com where they have the full episode available to watch.
The text in bold are memorable quotes from the episode.
This episode started off with Rob walking into the Fantasy Factory with Justin Bieber. Anyways, Rob walks into the Fantasy Factory with Justin Bieber and is greeted by Chanel. Rob and Justin tease Chanel about how she is blushing and she responds by saying "Oh my gosh, you guys are stupid!"
They walk into the factory and Rob begins to give Justin a pep talk on how he needs to be crazy and eccentric to get further in life. Justin agrees and Rob says that he got a gift for Justin, but before he can have it, Justin needs to prove that he can in fact be crazy. Bieber gets on a bike and starts riding around. Rob asks if he needs a helmet and Bieber says no.
Rob - "Hell no he doesn't!" "Bieber running wild! I've got a Wild Bieber in the Fantasy Factory!"
Then Bieber says he is going to jump the bike into the foam pit and Rob tells him that he is making him proud. Chanel comes in to watch and then Drama, being the voice of reason in every scenario, asks Rob "if he should maybe have a guard for that Beautiful little Bieber face?" Then Rob responds that he "has to believe Bieber's face is insured," haha.
Bieber jumps the bike into the foam pit and then we see a montage of Rob and Bieber doing Sketchy things. Bieber is making crazy basketball shots, skateboarding into the foam pit while being dragged by Rob in a go-kart, skateboarding on the mini ramp behind Rob's office, and driving the go-kart around. Then Rob asks Bieber if he thinks he can drive the go-kart into the foam pit. Bieber is down, and of course, he successfully drives it in, while Rob is yelling "Come on Bieber, fight that fear!"
Rob explains that since Bieber has proven himself, he can now have the gift that Rob got for him. Justin lifts up the tarp and sees a T-Rex, painted purple with the Justin Bieber logo. Justin looks SO EXCITED as Rob explains that the car is now his. Justin tells Rob that he will "Forever do crazy stuff in his life," and Rob and Justin take it for a joy ride through the streets of Los Angeles, and then the opening credits start rolling.
Rob - "Take this wealth and this fame, always stay humble, keep your family close, and do ridiculously crazy things."
After the credits we see Rob driving a fork-lift into the Fantasy Factory. The fork-lift is carrying a huge box, and Rob starts doing 360 spins. Drama and Big Cat peek their heads out of their offices to see what is going on and Rob just keeps spinning. He spins until the box falls off the fork-lift and glass shatters everywhere. Rob starts laughing and Drama and Big Cat approach. Rob explains that he was trying to surprise everyone with a gift.
Drama - "What is it?"
Rob - "It's a death box."
Drama "A death box."
Then Rob proceeds to explain that it is placed on the ground and tigers can attack. Rob is pissed off because he destroyed the box.
Drama - "You are telling me that it protects you from tigers, but it can't fall two feet?"
Rob asks them to help him put it back together and once they get it somewhat into one piece, Drama says "Dude, this wouldn't protect you from Meaty." The camera pans to Meaty with an adorable look on his face. Chanel comes over and asks what it is. Rob explains and Chanel asks why they don't just buy another one. Rob responds "Because it is 15 thousand dollars," haha.
Rob says that this should be a lesson to them all. "You start out on a journey and you have a big misstep right from the jump, you have got to persevere."
Drama - "You have got to BACK OUT!"
Rob begins to explain the reason why he wants to get attacked by a tiger. He says that while he was teaching Bieber a life lesson on how to be crazy, he realized that he hasn't done anything crazy in awhile. He has been spending so much time being an "office donkey," that he hasn't felt that feeling of fear and excitement. Rob tells them that he's found a place that will let him get run down and attacked by a tiger, and he asked if they would come along for support, if he can get the box repaired. They all agree. He turns to Big Cat and asks, "Did you ever wonder what it's like to look into the eyes of a big cat, into the eyes of a big cat?" That line had me laughing out loud.
In the next scene, Rob, Drama and Big Cat are having a skate session and then there is a loud pound on the door. Rob opens it up and Big Black appears in the doorway of the Fantasy Factory. He gives Rob one of those manly "Handshake/Hugs" and says hello to Big Cat and Drama. Big Black then walks into Rob's office and is greeted by Meaty and Beefy. He sits down at Rob's desk with Meaty.
Big Black - (referring to Meaty) "He's like 'this guy used to sneak me food, I GOTTA know him,'" haha.
Rob asks Black what he is doing back in LA and if he is here to stay. Black tells him he is here to stay and he is looking for an office to launch his clothing line. Rob offers him an office in the Factory and Black says that he doesn't want to intrude. Rob tells him it's no intrusion.
Rob - "Call it a vacation at a friends house. Like, it only gets weird if you start dumping with doors open and start walking around the house naked."
Big Black - "I don't think I'll be doing that here."
They decide that Black will stay there for awhile, and Rob brings him up to Corpo to check out his new office. Rob explains that if Black is staying here, he might need his help with some stuff, and Black agrees. Rob tells him he will be getting attacked by a tiger and he might need Black to act as a tiger and practice.
Big Black - "Who'd want to get dry humped by a Bengal Tiger..for thrills? Just piss off a big chick. Have her rush you down"
Rob - "That's not quite the same thrill,"
Big Black - "Yes, it might be."
Rob - "Big chicks don't kill."
Big Black - "Hey..right weight?"
Then Rob starts laughing and it cuts to commercial. When we get back, Drama is sitting in Rob's office, and Rob is going through a box next to his desk. He pulls out an athletic supporter, also known as a "cup" and attempts to put it down his pants. He explains to Drama that they could possibly attack.
Drama - "You might want to be in private for that. I just caught happy trail.."
Rob - "Things are going terribly wrong," as he struggles to get the cup in place.
Drama - "Dude! Adjust your junk in private!"
Rob - "It is all about preparation!"
With that, Rob calls up to Big Black's office and tells him it's time to get started. Black says he will be right down. Rob gets on the floor and tries to get Meaty and Beefy to attack him while he is wearing his protection, similar to how he tried to get them to bite through his chain suit in season one for Shark Attack.
Drama - "Dude, these two little hippos are not going to do anything."
"Little Hippos," was a hilariously perfect description of Meaty and Beefy. Beefy didn't really care too much, but Meaty was getting into it. Drama told Rob that Meaty attacking him is nothing like a Bengal, then Big Black appears at the door to Rob's office, dressed in a lion suit. The lion suit was spot on, even equipped with a tail!
Rob started slowly jogging the length of the Fantasy Factory and Big Black in his tiger suit came around a corner and started going after Rob. It's really hard to explain exactly how black was running. In my opinion, it was more of a prance than a run, haha. Either way, it looked so funny. He then body slammed Rob into the mats on the floor. After that, we see a montage of Big Black in his lion suit scaring Rob when he least expects it, pouncing on him from doorways, as Rob is walking through corpo, scaring Rob as he exited the washroom, and my favorite, as Rob was skating into the foam pit. Because of Big Black being so much bigger than Rob, we couldn't even see Rob in the foam pit! It was funny.
In the next scene, we see Drama in his office and all of a sudden a large black bear chair appears at the doorway. Rob starts growling from behind it and Drama asked if it was a real bear.
Rob - "Well, it feels like a real bear. If real bears are soft and cuddly and warm."
Rob explains he had it made for Big Black. As Rob was explaining this to Drama, he was sitting in the bear chair, and he looked hilarious. It's hard to explain, but Rob looked SO TINY compared to this massive chair. He had a few feet of chair above his head and his feet were dangling off the bottom.
Drama - "Your feet don't even touch the bottom"
Rob - "I swear to god, I feel like Goldilocks right now. I feel so pretty and dainty."
Rob had me rolling with "Dainty," haha. Rob told Drama that he got the chair for Big Black because BB loves bears and it's been so much fun having him at the Factory, he wants him to stay and keep the office upstairs.
They cut to commercial, and in the next scene we once again see Rob driving a fork-lift with a death box into the Factory, only this time instead of doing 360s, he gently places the death box on the ground. Drama says this box seems a lot safer, and Rob says he wants to see if they can all fit in there. (Big Black, Drama, Big Cat and Chanel.) Drama says he feels a lot safer crammed in there with Big Black and then the four of them get in. They close the box and Rob hops up on top. He starts jumping and Chanel screams. Then Rob pulls his pants down slightly and sticks his bare ass up against the glass of the death box, haha. Everyone is grossed out and they quickly open the door and run out of it.
Big Black - "Abort! Abort mission!"
Then Rob asks the crew if they are as excited as him, and they all have this look on their face that shows how NOT excited they are, haha. Rob goes to Big Black and says "You trained me! You know I'm ready! I took 400 pounds of THIS," and he points to Big Black. "You think I can't handle some aggressive, vicious tiger?!" and then Big Cat chimes in "I don't think so." It was funny.
In the next scene Rob is in his office, and the phone rings. It's Big Black calling downstairs and he wanted to let Rob know that he found some permanent office space somewhere else. Rob seemed a little upset and said that he wasn't trying to rush Big Black out. Big Black said he promised Rob that he would be out within a couple weeks, and he didn't want to impose any longer. Big Black said he would be looking at the new place tomorrow and then Rob said that he can't tomorrow, tomorrow is the tiger attack. Big Black said he would put it off for a little while so he could be there for the tiger attack. Then, Drama entered Rob's office and Rob was visibly upset. He told Drama that Black was considering leaving, and he said he doesn't want him to leave. He thinks Black likes it here. Rob said they are going to take the bear chair, and decorate Big Black's office, so there is no way he could turn it down.
After that there was a commercial, and then it was time for the tiger attack. They leave the Fantasy Factory and we see Rob, Drama, Big Cat, Big Black and Chanel in the car. Rob is explaining how they will be safe in the box, because basically you are fucked if he spots something and makes a run for it.
Chanel - "They don't like, tranquilize it or anything?"
Big Black - "If you tranq a tiger, he's still got about 3 minutes of good ass whoopin in"
They pull up to the spot and Rob introduces everyone to the tiger trainer. The trainer walks Rob through what will happen and tells Rob that he will have to taunt the tiger.
Rob - "Why must this big beast need to be taunted?"
Trainer - "You gotta let her know that she is coming after you. You have to get her focused on you and only you."
The truck with the tigers pull up and one of the tigers took a look at Rob and the crew and licked it's lips, haha.
Now, Big Black might have had the funniest quote in the entire episode.
Big Black - (referring to the tiger) "He's like that dark meat over there looks pretty tasty."
Just the quote itself, and the way he said it, it was classic Big Black. At this point it was evident that Big Black was back and fitting right in like the old days. My whole family started cracking up. The trainer said that everyone, including Rob, should get into the box and they will let the tigers go, just so they can see what it is like. They all pile into the box and the trainers take the tigers out.
Big Black - "That's a big ass damn cat."
Now, I was still laughing from Big Black's previous statement, but once he said this I just lost it. The tigers come over to the box and everyone is terrified. One hops on top of the box and Chanel freaks out. Rob tickles it's foot a little and the crew just takes in the experience. After that, Rob gets ready for the attack.
Drama - "Good luck man, we love you."
Once Rob leaves the box, Chanel says "I'm really scared for him," and they all agree. Rob is standing outside the tiger's cage and he turns to the trainer and shakes his hand.
Rob - "I really appreciate this."
Trainer - "Of course. I just hope I can shake your hand after."
Rob starts taunting the tiger and pacing in front of him. Big Black says that it looks like Rob pissed the tiger off, and then the trainer opens the door and the tiger lunges at Rob, knocking him to the ground. After he knocks him down it looks like he took a nice bite out of Rob's arm.
Chanel - "That fool is biting him!"
The trainers come and quickly leash the tiger up, and Rob gets up off the ground. The crew claps and Rob tells them all that he got bit.
Rob - "It's a good thing I had that cup on. The tiger pawed my balls SO hard."
In the next scene, they are back at the Factory and Rob and Black are walking up to corpo. Rob tells black that he knows he found office space somewhere else, but they want him to stay at the Factory. He tells Black not to make any decisions until he sees his new office. Big Black LOVES the office and he sits down in the bear chair. Just to get an idea of how big that chair is, even Big Black looks small while sitting in it. Rob tells Black that he has one more surprise for him, but he wants to bring everyone in before he shows him.
Everyone enters the office and Rob proceeds to explain about how Big Black was "One of the greatest male exotic dancers of all time." We then see a flashback that I'm sure is burned in every Rob and Big fan's brains, Black Lavender. If you haven't seen that episode of Rob and Big, I recommend watching it. It is by far one of the funniest episodes of the entire series.
Anyways, Rob then reveals an oil painting of Big Black, in his purple "Black Lavender" jumpsuit. But wait, that's not all. The jumpsuit is removable, so underneath it, you see Black Lavender in all his glory. So hilarious. I swear, ONLY Rob Dyrdek would come up with an idea like this. Everyone is cracking up, especially when Rob removes the piece to reveal Big Black's tiny purple thong with the BB's on it.
At this point Rob looks back to Big Black and asks him again, if he would consider sticking around for a permanent office at the Fantasy Factory.
Big Black - "I can't say no, I've got my family here dude."
Then Rob gives Big Black a hug and says "Welcome back."
Very touching moment for Rob and Big fans. Rob and the crew start clapping and singing a "Welcome back, Big Black" song to Big Black, and that concludes the first episode of the 4th season.
There is also a deleted scene on mtv.com which I thought was SO FUNNY. It is when Rob, Big Cat, Drama, and Chanel are sitting in the broken death box, and for some reason Big Cat and Drama are sitting kind of close, with knees touching. Rob says it's a "Pfaff puzzle," and Rob starts to tease them and say that when you are brothers, personal space doesn't matter. Then he went on to explain how weird it must've been when they were kids, and they just coddled each other. Rob had some line about how they had to say "No Scott, it's mom's turn to breast feed now," and I just started laughing hysterically at that. Then he said something about confusion at the Pfaff house, and it was just so funny. Definitely worth checking out.
Overall, I thought it was a great episode. So many hilarious scenes, and like I said, it is great to have Big Black back. It feels like he never left. Tune in next week to see Drama become a male model. It looks like it will be great! Mondays at 10:30/9:30pm Central on MTV!

For those of you who don't know who Justin Bieber is, he is a teenage singing sensation who has taken the tween world by storm.
