This episode of Fantasy Factory was titled "Joe C. and the Magic Goatee." If you are a long time Rob and Big/Fantasy Factory viewer, or you follow skateboarding closely, you know that Joe Ciaglia is a big deal. Joe owns California Skateparks and California Skateparks is the company that builds all of the incredible skate spots you see on Fantasy Factory. They build ALL of Rob Dyrdek's Safe Spot Skate Spots, all of the courses for Street League, the world's biggest skateboard and the Fantasy Factory. They've also built skateparks all over the country. Rob decided to dedicate this episode to Joe C, since he has done so much for him.
I was shocked to see that MTV was promoting this episode as the season finale of Fantasy Factory. I knew that more footage was shot. A few of the pros from Street League went over to the factory to film footage for the season finale, so it didn't make sense that this was it. Also, there was a clip in the Best of, Bonus and Behind the scenes that featured a "hug horn," and we never got to see that footage.
After a little bit of research (me tweeting Shane Nickerson) I learned that there ARE two more episodes left in season 4 of Fantasy Factory. MTV might decide to air them before Ridiculousness starts up in August. I don't know why MTV decided to cut the season short, but I do know that TONS of fans are not happy about it. I got tons of tweets on both my personal account and on @TeamDCFantasy from fans who were just as surprised as I was to learn this was the finale. Later on, Rob Dyrdek tweeted what Shane had already told me, there are two more episodes, and MTV hasn't decided when they want to air them.
While this is disappointing news, all we can do at this point is hope that those episodes do air sometime in the future, and we can look forward to Ridiculousness in a few months. I personally can't wait to see Ridiculousness on TV. I know the fans will love it!
edit - After I started writing this re-cap, the Fantasy Factory page on Facebook said something along the lines of "Oops, I guess there are two more episodes left this season! Don't forget to watch Monday's at 10:30/9:30 central on MTV!" I am still a little bit confused as to what they mean. I checked the guide on comcast and Fantasy Factory isn't scheduled to be on this Monday. I am actually hoping it isn't on this week because the fans now think that the season is over, so I'm afraid no one will be watching. Hopefully MTV does a ton of promoting before they decide to air the last two episodes. I will do all I can to inform everyone as soon as I know for sure when the episodes will air. If you don't already, follow me on twitter at @shygirl364 or on the fan account I share with Natasha, @TeamDCFantasy.
Alright, now on to the re-cap. The episode opened with Rob entering his office with Big Cat, Drama and Big Black already in there. Rob told Drama that if man-thongs were ever made popular, he knows Drama would be on it first. Then Rob proceeded to drop his pants, pull his boxers up and show the crew what a man-thong would really look like. Rob started rubbing his ass on Drama and Drama didn't want any part of it. It was a hilarious scene and after that, the opening credits started to roll.
When we got back, Rob had various garbage cans set up on the conference table in his office. There were also tennis balls, and Rob, Drama and Big Black were betting on who could make the hardest shot bouncing the balls into the garbage cans. $300 was on the line and Rob ended up winning. While Rob was cheering, celebrating his victory, Chanel brought Joe C. into the office.
The reason Rob brought Joe C. in was to tell him about an unclaimed plaza that Rob owns in Shreveport, LA. Rob said that the park has been around for 5 years, but it's so horribly built, he has been ashamed to claim it as his own. Rob projected photos of the skate park onto his big screen TV in the office, and it wasn't pretty. The Mayor of Shreveport gave Rob Dyrdek the key to the city and Rob felt it was only right to go in there and re-design that skate park so kids have a better place to skate. Rob was talking to Joe about the skate park, and he was clearly distracted by Joe C.'s goatee.
Rob - "We can make it beautiful man. I can't..I, I'm just so focused on his goatee right now. I'm trying to look him in the eyes and get passion out, and all I see is goatee right now."
Big Black - "You are the GOAT. Greatest Of All Time."
Rob - "I've said it a million times, you're goatee is half your power!"
Rob ran out of his office and came back with a little statue of Joe C.'s head.
Rob - "I'm going to tell the people of Shreveport that you can thank this (pointing to the goatee on the statue) for this (the key to the city.)
Drama - "Just the goatee?"
Rob - "Just the goatee because it's got magical powers. I bet if we shaved that and all drank it, we could build anything in the world."
In the next scene, the world's biggest skateboard was getting tied onto a truck. Rob grabbed the Joe C. statue and called Big Cat over. He told Big Cat to grab the rest of the crew and gather everyone by the world's biggest skateboard. Once everyone was there, Rob hopped onto the skateboard and explained to everyone how Joe C. has changed everyone's life. Rob said Joe C. isn't being honored the way he should be. All they had was that little bronze statue, but Rob wanted to do something bigger. Rob told everyone that the weekend of the opening of the new skate plaza, Mardi Gras was also happening in New Orleans. Everyone got super excited, and Rob said that he wanted to take the world's biggest skateboard and turn it into a float during the Mardi Gras parade.
Rob - "Go get some beads out there! Chanel could flash her boobs all over the place, you know what I mean?"
Chanel - "I'm not gonna flash my boobs."
Rob - "Put your boobs out there! It's for beads, it's like part of culture down there. It's like saying 'Oh, I don't want to breathe or drink your water.'"
Rob said he wants to honor Joe C. by making a Joe C. float. Rob took the small bronze Joe C. statue and smashed it.
Rob - "Forget that crappy little bronze, peeping tom, weird little sculpture face. We are going to honor him with this float, in a way that he never even thought possible."
Rob attempted to get off the top of the world's biggest skateboard by grabbing onto the zip line rope that was right above his head. Not a very well thought out idea, because he couldn't jump from there to the ground. Big Black came over and Rob dropped perfectly onto his shoulders, haha.
There was a commercial break, and then the crew arrived in Shreveport, LA. They were on their way to the skatepark and Rob said he didn't know if he even wanted to see it. He said he has blocked it out of his mind all this time. They pulled up and it was awful. Chanel called it a dump. Joe C. was already there figuring out his plans for the park. The crew met up with him and Joe said it was going to take some work to fix it up. We saw all the horrible rails and ramps. There was even a broken electrical box in the middle of the park. It was in pretty bad shape.
Drama - "It's almost like you're just teasing these kids. 'Hey, this is almost a skate park..'"
Rob was talking to Joe C. about the timing and how there really isn't too much time to get this park built. While they were talking, Chanel was visibly freezing. When you are from Southern California, cold weather can be somewhat of a shock. The group decided to try and warm her up by creating a circle around her and jumping up and down. It was so funny because Chanel is so tiny, we could only see the top of her head while they were jumping!
Rob told Joe that he absolutely needed to be at the Mardi Gras parade, so this park needed to be finished ASAP. Joe built the world's biggest skateboard, and it's been in parades, but nothing like Mardi Gras. He needed to be there to see it. Also, Joe C. didn't realize that the entire float would be dedicated to him and his goatee. Rob and the crew huddled around Joe C. for a group hug.
Rob - "Oh, I just got really rubbed down by that great goatee right there. I've never been touched by another man's goatee before."
Drama - "I think that's a good thing."
Rob - "I felt a tingle!"
Drama - "Like a Brillo pad?"
Rob - "No! It felt like..magic!"
They left Joe C. to work on the skatepark and the crew headed to New Orleans. Their first top was the place where all the Mardi Gras floats were made. They needed a professional to help perfect their Joe C. float. While they were there, they saw some amazing floats.
Rob - "Look at this place of giant magic things! This is a giant magical land!"
They met with JxPx, a professional float builder, and he was going to help them turn their idea into an amazing float. Rob noticed how every float in the warehouse had a giant head on the front. Rob wanted to get a giant Joe C. head for the front of their float. JP said they could make that happen.
Drama - "It'll be amazing. Everyone else lined on the street will be like, 'This is awesome, but I don't know who this man is.'"
Big Black - "How about we all dress up as Joe C.?"
They discussed all getting goatees and Chanel was a little hesitant, but she went for it. Rob told Big Black that he already kind of had one built in.
Big Black - "Oh yeah, I'm ready!"
Rob - "We'd have to flair it up a little bit."
Big Black - "I'll blond it out."
JP - "Like the reverse!"
Rob hopped up onto the skateboard and explained how everyone will be a Joe C. in a different form. Warlock Joe C., Tiger Joe C....
Rob - "One could be a Princess Joe C.! Who wants to be the princess Joe C.?!"
Chanel (raising her hand) - "Me!"
They decided to call the float "Joe C. and the Magic Goatee." Rob and the crew decided they were going to go get their goatee's and outfits so they could be ready for the parade. They left the float in JP's hands, and went off for their costumes. There was a commercial break, and when we got back, we saw a little bit of California Skateparks demolishing the old park and building the new one.
The crew was heading out to the wig shop.
Chanel - "I'm excited to get into the princess outfit, but I feel like the goatee is going to kill my whole steez."
Rob - "How could it kill your steez when you've got Joe C's magic Goatee?"
They went into the wig shop and right away found some beards and mustaches. Rob put his on first and it looked perfect! Next, Big Black got his blond wig on.
Rob - "Reverse Joe C. is going to be SO INCREDIBLE!"
Drama got his wig on and they were all cracking up!
Chanel - "He looks like that one Beatle!"
Haha, Chanel was totally right, it was super creepy how much Drama resembled George Harrison! Big Cat got his on, and then they tied Chanel's blond hair up and put a Joe C. wig on her. Rob put her beard and mustache on.
Rob - "This is such a pretty little Joe C.!"
Drama - "Joe She!"
Haha, for some reason that line made me crack up pretty badly. They all started dancing in the store in their Joe C. costumes. (Most of them dancing, Big Cat kind of just swaying side to side.) Next stop was the costume shop. Drama put on a colorful prince outfit, and then Chanel came out as Princess Joe She.
Rob - "Oh my god, such a pretty Joe C.!"
Rob came out in an Indian outfit.
Big Black - "Warrior Chief Joe C.!"
All of a sudden we hear Big Cat's voice. "I think this is a little too much..." Then Big Cat comes around the corner in this SPANDEX cat suit. All I could think of is poor Big Cat. This outfit was HILARIOUS! The guy has been through so many ridiculous outfits this season, but I think this one takes the cake as far as craziest.
Rob - "This man is about to commit to a 3.5 hour parade in a Tiger Onesie!"
Big Cat - "It's that long?!"
Drama - "He's like the most fragile little tiger you've ever seen!"
Rob found some wings that matched Big Cat's outfit and decided to turn him into a Tiger Fairy. Rob called him the Joe C. Tiger Fairy, it was honestly so hilarious!
After that, there was a commercial break and then it was time for the parade. It was raining outside, but that didn't stop the Mardi Gras fun! They headed out to the parade and they saw their float for the first time. It looked SO GOOD! Rob said that it was a perfect looking Joe C. head, and then Joe C. showed up to see it. It looked like Joe loved it, and then Rob introduced him to the crew.
Rob - "Joe D (Rob), Joe DB (Drama), Joe BB (Big Black), Joe BC (Big Cat), and Joe She (Chanel)."
Rob showed Joe C. how the float was named "Joe C. and the Magic Goatee." Rob thanked Joe C. for everything he's done, and Joe C. gave hugs to everyone. He even gave Joe She a little peck on the cheek.
Rob - "Things got weird, things got weird! You wanna make love to your fairy self?! Go make love to your fairy self! (pointing to Big Cat)"
Joe C. gave Tiger Fairy Joe BC a slap on the ass, hahaha. You could tell Big Cat was not expecting that one! Too funny! The parade got started and the crew was having a blast throwing beads and goatee packs out to everyone in the crowd. Joe C was sitting on the big purple chair on the float and the rest of the crew were dancing around and entertaining. The camera panned the crowd and tons of people were wearing Joe C. goatees. It was so hilarious! The parade ended and then it was time for the opening of the new skatepark. Tons of people showed up and it was pretty incredbile.
Rob (to Joe C.) - "I think you did an incredible job but I can't see it right now because it's covered with people."
We saw a few before and after pictures of the skatepark, and Joe C. did great like always. Rob got on the microphone and explained about how when he got the key to the city, he felt he didn't deserve it, and he had to come back to Shreveport, LA and make the skate park right. Rob explained how Joe C. (with the help of his magic goatee) was able to transform the park and make it incredible. They cut the red ribbon on the skatepark and let the kids try it out. The crew signed autographs and then headed home.
Rob - "We got to honor the great Joe C., we got to build another park. Got to make a lot of people happy on this trip. Now let's get home!"
That ended the episode. It was another great episode. I really enjoyed it.

Season 4 Episode 7 of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory
Monday's episode of Fantasy Factory was titled "Kid Lightning," and it featured Rob training to wrestle in the WWE for a Make-A-Wish foundation event. In my opinion, the wrestling scene in this episode was one of the best scenes in the entire series. You could tell those kids were so excited to meet Rob and it was very touching to see how he impacted those kids lives.
The episode opened with the crew inside the Fantasy Factory, and Big Cat and Drama were dragging this huge mat towards Rob's office. Chanel was standing there, and Rob said something to the effect of, "Watch out for Chelsea!" For those of you who don't know, Chelsea is Chanel's real first name. Chanel is actually her middle name, but she chooses to go by Chanel because she doesn't like Chelsea too much. Chanel told Rob she hated that name, and that fueled Rob to continue to call her that, and even sing a song about it. The entire crew started chiming in and singing "Chelsea Dudley." It was so funny, Rob started imitating things Chanel might say, and said he almost wants to create a "Chelsea Dudley Musical."
After that, the opening credits rolled and when we got back Rob was in the factory inside of a wrestling ring. Drama walked in and you could tell he was immediately nervous about what he saw. Rob told Drama to get over to the ring, and Drama was hesitant. The wrestler in Rob then took over, and he jumped out of the ring, ran over to Drama and pulled him in. He started pushing him around a little bit, and while Drama was on the ground, Rob got up onto the side of the ring and body slammed Drama. Drama kept repeating "Why are we doing this?!" and Rob just kept wrestling.
Rob - "You want to know what your defense could be as a wrestler?"
Drama - "huh?"
Rob - "Greasy face. I felt like I was holding on to a stick of butter."
Drama - "Can't catch me!"
Rob and Drama continued wrestling and then Big Black appeared. You could tell he was very excited about this because he jogged over to the wrestling ring and wanted to join in on the fun. This seemed like a flashback of the "Cancun" episode of Rob and Big, when Rob, Drama, Big Black and Bam Bam went to Cancun and took on the persona's of Flashito, Sexy Boy and Big Water.
Anyways, the guys continued to wrestle, and then Rob explained why he had the wrestling ring. Rob said that he got contacted by the Make-A-Wish foundation, and there were 14 kids whose wish was to meet Rob. Every year the WWE flies Make-A-Wish kids out to Wrestlemania, and they asked Rob if he would go out there to meet the kids. Rob said he would love to go out there, but he didn't want to just meet the kids. He wanted to wrestle as well. The WWE said that would be no problem. Rob immediately had an idea of him flying in on his skateboard on a ramp, into the wrestling ring, and slamming the other wrestler. Big Black and Drama wanted to be involved somehow, and Rob said he'd figure something out for them.
Drama - "I want to be in it."
Rob - "Okay, you're a greasy, slippery guy?"
Then Rob proceeded to fill Big Black in on how Drama's face was all greasy when they were wrestling earlier.
Drama - "That's from my hair product!"
Rob - "You got hair product on your beard? What is it? Beard honey? You got beard honey, beard butter to make your beard shine?"
Then Drama asked Rob if the WWE knew that Rob had no idea how to wrestle, and Rob assured Drama that by the time of the event, he would be a pro.
Drama - "You're already doing the wrestler point thing."
Rob (while pointing and getting closer to Drama) - "Well look, I'm gonna tell you one thing. You can keep DOUBTING me, acting like I CAN'T GET IN THE RING AND PUT IT DOWN LIKE A 6'10 400 POUND MONSTER, BUT I CAN TELL YOU RIGHT NOW, YOU WILL BE GRAVELY MISTAKEN!"
In the next scene, Rob appeared in Big Black's office, ran up on him and went up to hit him in the chest. Big Black didn't flinch at all and Rob questioned him on it.
Rob - "You didn't think I was going to kick you through the wall?"
Big Black - "I'm pretty big, it's going to be pretty tough to get me through that wall."
Rob explained to Big Black that the Make-A-Wish foundation is a pretty big deal, and he said that the kids have no idea that he is actually going to be wrestling. Rob wanted to make the experience unforgettable for the kids and he wanted them to be able to play a part in it. He said he needed to come up with a character or prop, something the kids could also do. Rob walked away for a minute, and came back into the office with a ponytail like thing hanging off the back of his head.
Big Black - "Let me guess. Pony Boy."
Rob - "Flying Rat."
Big Black started cracking up and Rob showed Big Black what the Flying Rat could do. He also got a rat tail for Big Black. He put it on the back of his head and Big Black looked pretty funny.
Big Black - "You got the back rat tail, your boy rollin the front rat tail."
Then Big Black put the rat tail on the top of his head, and flipped it up. Rob parted the hair a little bit and it looked hilarious!
Rob - "You look like Hulk Hogan! This is like Hulk Hogan-ified right here."
Rob started laughing - "Oh my god! You are the receding nightmare!"
Haha, this was a hilarious scene. The Flying Rat and The Receding Nightmare. It worked perfectly!
Big Black - "If a kid sees me like this, I'm gonna hurt a kid's soul."
Rob - "We don't want that. We need something more friendly to the kids."
Rob ended the scene by saying that he needed to get a true WWE superstar into the Fantasy Factory to figure something out. There was a commercial break, and when we got back, Rob was practicing rolling into the ring on his skateboard and body slamming Drama. Big Black was helping to spot Rob as he flew into the ring, and on one attempt, Big Black was ready to help, but while Rob was mid-air, he switched to a ninja-like kick and Big Black jumped out of the way. Luckily there was a mat there, because Rob slammed into it and fell to the bottom of the ring.
The scene cut to the front doors of the factory, where we see someone in black boots and a kilt walk in. The camera pans up and we realize it's superstar WWE Wrestling legend, Rowdy Roddy Piper. Chanel walked him into the Factory and he took in the surroundings. He watched as Rob flew into the ring on his board and then he introduced himself to Roddy Piper. Roddy asked Rob why he wants to wrestle, and Rob said he always had a dream of making an entrance like that, since he knows no one else can do it. He said the problem is, he has no idea what to do once he gets into the ring. Roddy told him that's what he is here for.
Roddy Piper- "You'll give them a great performance, but if you go out with the thought of giving them your heart, you can't make no mistakes."
Rob then started to brainstorm wrestling names with Roddy.
Rob - "What do you think of when a guy is flying through the air? Lightning...Kid Lightning?"
They decided that Kid Lightning is a good name, but if Rob chooses that name, he has to be fast. They decided that Big Black would provide the thunder, and Drama can be hail. Hail Boy to be exact. Rob and Roddy started working on what lightning will be when it strikes, and it was so fun to watch! Rob and Roddy got in the ring and started working on moves for Rob's match.
Rob (in his wrestling voice) - I SUGGEST YOU WALK LIGHTLY AND WHEN YOU HEAR THE THUNDER, YOU STAY INDOORS. CAUSE YOU NEVER...NEVER KNOW WHEN LIGHTNING IS GOING TO STRIKE! BAAAAHHHHHH!"
In the next scene, Rob was about to introduce Drama and Big Black to their costumes for the event. Drama and Big Black walked into Rob's office, and Rob was hiding in a corner wearing a huge black outfit and a blue wig. Big Black asked Rob what was going on, and Rob explained that the black outfit was Black Thunder's outfit. Drama asked what was up with the blue wig, and Rob replied that it was for Hail Boy. Rob removed the black jacket to reveal a bright blue suit for Hail Boy to wear. They started cracking up because it honestly looked SO ridiculous. At this point I could only imagine how hilarious Drama would look in the blue suit with the blue wig. After that, Rob took off the blue suit to reveal his Kid Lightning logo on a t-shirt. The logo looked great (obviously, because it was created by Tracy Tubera.)
Rob told Big Black and Drama that he was going to give each kid their own Kid Lightning shirt, and he also was going to give them a custom Kid Lightning board, just like the one he was going to fly in on. It was so generous of Rob, I could tell the kids were going to be so excited!
After that scene, it was time to fly to Atlanta. Rob, Big Black and Drama arrived at Wrestlemania, and they were greeted by David Williams, the President of the Make-A-Wish foundation. David told Rob that these 14 kids could have wished for anything in the world, and the one thing they wanted was to meet Rob. Rob explained how humbled he was, and he walked into the room and was greeted with cheering and applause.
Rob, Drama and Big Black went around to each of the tables and signed and took pictures with the kids. One of the boys asked Drama where Chanel was and it was SO CUTE!
Boy - "Where's Chanel?"
Drama - "She didn't make it. You wanted to meet her, huh? She's a cutie!"
Rob explained to the kids how he was going to be wrestling, and he said he got everyone front row seats for the event. The kids were super excited! Rob told the kids that if things start getting rough out there in the ring, he is going to need everyone to start chanting "Lightning! Lightning! Lightning!" They practiced the chant, all changed into their Kid Lightning shirts and then it was time for Rob to wrestle!
Rob went in the back and met up with Rowdy Roddy Piper and learned who he would be up against in the match. It was going to be Rob and Roddy Vs. Tyson Kidd and Zack Ryder, two professional WWE wrestlers. Right away Roddy told Rob that they didn't like him very much (typical wrestling talk) and they were not happy about some random skateboarder coming in trying to wrestle. They went to get changed and Hail Boy and Black Thunder looked AMAZING! Rob came out in his Kid Lightning t-shirt and some customized boots and it was awesome. Seeing him next to Roddy Piper was great! They got pumped up for the fight. Big Black made his thunder noise, and Drama attempted to make some sort of a hail noise but it just turned out awkward. Then, there was a commercial break.
After the commercial, it was time to head into the ring. Tyson and Zack were introduced first, and then Rowdy Roddy Piper came out.Roddy introduced Hail Boy and Black Thunder, and then came Kid Lightning with an incredible introduction! He nailed his entrance into the ring, and then it was time for the shit talk.
Other team - "Kid Lightning, you think because you come into the ring on a skateboard, that makes you entertaining?! These people came here to see Tyson Kidd and Zack Ryder!"
Boo's filled the arena and then it was Kid Lightning's turn to speak.
Kid Lightning - "Okay, okay, look. I don't care if you call me a skateboarder, alright? But I was taught by the greatest legend, the superstar of superstars, the strongest, realest iron man of wrestling! Hod Rod, Rowdy Roddy Piper! So you can whoop de woo all you want, but you never know when lightning is gonna strike! Let's GO!"
This was met by cheers from the crowd and the match started. For a minute there it kind of looked like Rob was getting his ass kicked, but you know he turned the match around. Everyone started chanting "Lightning! Lightning!" just like they practiced at the meet and greet. Hail Boy pulled Kid Lightning out of the ring and he disappeared for a second. He appeared at the top of the ramp, and he rode into the ring, and body slammed his opponent, winning the match.
This was so incredible to watch. Like I said, I think it was honestly one of the best scenes in the entire Fantasy Factory series. I don't even really care for WWE, but this was SO MUCH FUN to watch. I know wrestling is all fake, but it was amazing and so well done. The crowd was cheering and Black Thunder carried Kid Lightning out of the ring.
Backstage, Rob said his thank you's to Roddy Piper for helping him out with this. You could tell Rob had a blast. They went out and took a group photo with all the Make-A-Wish kids, and that ended the episode. I loved it, it was SO great. One of my favorites. I think right now it's a close match between "Dodging Devil Donkey's" and this episode.
Also, I want to take a second to thank the Fantasy Factory crew for sending me this INCREDIBLE gift in the mail. It was so great to come home to this large package from MTV. I will forever be grateful for how generous Rob, the Fantasy Factory staff and the staff at Dyrdek Enterprises always are. They are some of the nicest people in the world.

Next week, the crew heads to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and top open a new Safe Spot Skate Spot. Don't forget to watch, Monday, May 23rd 10:30/9:30pm Central on MTV!

Season 4 Episode 2 of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory
This episode of Fantasy Factory was SO HILARIOUS! At one point, honest to god, there were tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. The episode was about Drama becoming a "Man-Dime," which is basically a male who is a perfect 10 in the looks department. Also, Rob did some torc truck racing with Casey Currie. Don't forget, this re-cap IS NOT a substitute for actually watching the episode. Head over to mtv.com if you missed it on Monday!
I absolutely adored the opening clip. We all know I'm a sucker for anything Meaty and/or Beefy related, and the opening scene was Big Black and Meaty sitting at Rob's desk in his office.
Big Black (to Meaty) - "A couple years ago man, you were a stud! What happened?!"
Rob - "The moment that little bulldog (Beefy) showed up and he just went emotional. Sensi-pants"
Big Black and Rob went on to discuss how Meaty has been "replaced," or "out shined" by Beefy. Big Black explained how Meaty used to live the good life, flying on private jets, and having hot chicks rubbing all over him. Meaty got depressed and looked away, and then they cut to the opening credits.
After the credits, Rob walks over to Drama's office and Drama isn't in there. He asks Big Cat if he had seen Drama, and Big Cat says that Drama is at a dentist's appointment. Rob asked Big Cat how it could possibly take all day, since he has already been gone for four hours. Big Cat responds that Drama has been thinking about getting veneers, so it could possibly be about that. This was clearly news to Rob, as he explained how strange he thought that was.
Rob - "Have you ever seen someone with a mouth full of fake teeth?"
Big Cat - "I'd like to think if they were done right, you wouldn't be able to tell."
Rob - "Well, most of them aren't, and they look like straight human donkeys."
Rob said he would wait for Drama to get back, and when Drama came into the office, Rob was at his desk. Rob asked Drama if he was considering getting veneers, and Drama said he was. Rob said he had an issue with that. He said that since Drama was already so good looking, if he got a new set of teeth, he was afraid his life would change. Rob said people would start treating Drama differently and throwing free stuff at him. Drama said he didn't think it'd be that dramatic.
Rob - "You are just a couple moves away from a full fledged man-dime."
Drama - "Don't say that. A man-dime?"
Rob - A man-dime. A perfect ten in the form of a man; as the kids call them dime pieces, you are a man-dime."
Rob then went on to ask Drama about the veneers, and Drama said they give you a exact version of your teeth. He then pulled out his blackberry and showed Rob the wax version of his teeth. Rob started cracking up.
Rob - "Oh my god, you are going to be freaking gorgeous!"
After this, Rob got on one of those kicks where the ideas start flowing and he is basically unstoppable. He told Drama he can't stop here, he has to do a FULL makeover. He told Drama he could be come a model. Drama said he was pretty good how he is and he really has no interest in all the extra stuff. Well..we all know that Rob never takes no as an answer, and this was no exception.
Rob - "You are on a mission to become a man dime, and I'm going to help you. Project man dime is gonna change your life!...Women are going to love you and guys are going to want your mouth!"
In the next scene, Rob is racing a tiny little truck around the Fantasy Factory. Drama pokes his head out of his office and asks Rob what it is. Rob tells him that it is a torc truck, and he has one for everybody. Big Black and Big Cat join Rob and Drama, and Rob explains that they are basically Baja Trucks that are raced inside a track. Rob says he has a friend who is a pro racer, and he is going to let Rob race him. Rob is preparing by racing these tiny little remote controlled trucks around the factory. Chanel comes over and wants to try. We then see a montage of the crew racing these tiny cars all over. The cars seem indestructible. They are crashing into walls and ramps, and surviving without a scratch!
Rob - "I'll tell you what. These are fun, but it'd be a heck of a lot easier to drive a real torc truck."
Big Black - "Hellll no!"
Rob - "They are made EXACTLY the same way!"
Drama - "You would've DIED if those were real trucks."
In the next scene, Rob and Big Black are in Rob's office again, and Big Black is sitting with Meaty. Meaty is on his own chair, and BB is spinning the chair and singing "Rotisserie Dog, Rotisserie Dog." So cute!
Rob asks BB if he has ever noticed how messed up Drama's teeth are, and Black responds that he doesn't really look at a man's teeth when he is talking to him. Rob explains to Black that Drama is planning on getting veneers and Black had the same idea as Rob. He said that if he's going to go all out and get fake teeth, he might as well take it to the next level. Rob explained the term "man-dime" to BB, since BB has never heard that expression before.
Big Black - "Man-dime?"
Rob - "Have you ever heard of a dime?"
Big Black - "Dime piece.."
Rob - "What is a dime piece?"
Big Black - "A dime piece is a hot FEmale."
Rob - "You know what a man-dime is?"
Big Black - "A hot dude, I guess?"
Rob - "That's right!"
Rob says that he is the leader of "Project Man-Dime," and he asked Black if he wanted to help out.
Big Black - "Dude, if it's down to help a man's mouth? I'm in.."
They cut to a commercial, and when they get back, the next scene takes place in the Fantasy Factory. Drama, Rob, and Big Black are heading out to the dentist's office for Drama's veneer appointment. I have to say, this upcoming scene was the absolute funniest scene in the episode.
They get to the dentist's office, and the dentist shows them the before and after models of Drama's teeth. Rob tells everyone that he sees a slight "bucky-ness" in the after model, and Drama says that's his worst fear. We see a little bit of the process, and then Drama asks if he can sit up and take a little break. Rob and Black come in to see Drama, and immediatley start laughing. It's super hard to explain, but the way Drama looked with just his upper set was HILARIOUS!
Drama - "Do I look like Angelina Jolie?"
Rob - "LOOK at him! Is this a joke?! You're not making a face?"
Drama - "No."
Big Black - "You look like a BAD runway model."
Rob and Big Black couldn't stop laughing, and Drama was drooling all over the place.
Rob - "He looks like a Beverly Hills housewife."
Drama - "I don't want this."
Rob - "I hope a dime comes out of this because right now you went all the way down to a two."
This scene was SO HILARIOUS! My entire family was laughing so hard, and my mom and I both had tears in our eyes from laughing. Too funny.
Rob - "He's as ugly as he's ever been in his life!"
Big Black - "If I didn't know who you were, I'd give you change right now."
Then Rob turns to the doctor and says "Get in there and save him man. You look as inbred as you'll ever look."
SO funny!
Drama came out after the procedure and his teeth looked incredible. So much better than the halfway point. They left the dentist and then Drama was on his way to becoming a man-dime.
In the next scene, Casey Currie was at the Fantasy Factory, and Rob introduced him to Drama. He said Casey brought a mini torc truck to the Factory for Rob to practice with and this thing was so adorable. It reminded me of the mini gymkhana car, but it was obviously a little bigger since it was a truck, and it looked way sturdier. Rob started zipping around in the truck and then he went to thank Casey and he couldn't get out. Rob told Casey that Drama didn't believe in him, and then he started making truck noises.
Rob - "The reality of it is, sometimes if you sound like a champion, you become a champion."
In the next scene, it was time for the next step in Drama's man-dime adventure. Rob and Big Black entered Drama's office and told him it was time for hair extetntions, tanning, waxing and new gear. Drama said he didn't really want any of that stuff, and Rob said it would make him the happiest he'd be in his entire life. We saw a montage of Drama getting hair extensions, waxed, and spray tanned.
Chanel - "He needs to get the cover of GQ looking like this, straight up!"
Then Rob comes out in a french outfit and introduces us to one of his new alter egos, Le Pepe Le Pop. This begins Drama's photo shoot. Rob starts putting Drama in all these awkward and hilarious poses, with different outfits, and it was hilarious!
Le Pepe Le Pop - It's HOTTTT! It's MAGICCC! YESSS YESSSSS YESSSSSSSSSS!"
Le Pepe Le Pop asked Big Black to turn on the fan so Drama's hair could blow in the wind, and then we hear a huge fart.
Drama - "Did you FART into the fan?!"
Big Black - "I could've....pressures of the job.."
That was a wrap on the photo shoot, and everyone gave Drama a hug, except for Big Cat, who opted for a hand shake.
After the commercial, the crew was off to the torc truck track for Rob's race. Drama was still looking like a man dime with the hair extensions. Rob explained that since they are in the presence of a man-dime, it's only fair that Drama be the one to wave the flag to begin the race. The truck looked great, and it even had Rob's name on it. Drama waved the flag and the race began. It was a good race, Casey and Rob were both in 1st place at some point. Casey ended up winning the race, and then Rob told Casey that he is welcome to skate the factory whenever he wanted.
Rob - "First of all, I want to thank Casey, everybody that came out today, the man dime for giving me inspiration, big homie, the little rapper, weird guy, and everyone else involved here, thank you!"
In the next scene, Rob and Big are in Rob's office, and Drama comes in, looking like his old self again. Rob asks Drama where the man-dime went, and Drama said that being a man-dime kind of sucked.
Drama - "Dude, being a man-dime is really uncomfortable."
Rob - "Yeah?! Is THIS uncomfortable looking to you?"
And then Rob opened up Drama's portfolio of pictures.
Drama - "I'm bright orange."
Rob - "You're bright PERFECT!"
The pictures turned out hilarious, and Rob and Black decided that without the hair and tan, Drama drops down to a 6. Rob gave Drama the book and told Drama that one thing is for certain. For the rest of his life, he will always have a pretty mouth.
Rob - "You can walk a man-dime to the runway, but you can't force him to walk."
That wrapped up the episode, and honestly, it was way funnier than I could even describe in this blog. If you haven't seen it, please head over to mtv.com and watch it. They have full episodes up for viewing. They also have a hilarious deleted scene, where a model scout comes in to look at Drama before he gets his man-dime transformation, and she tells Drama everything that he needs to fix in order to be a perfect 10.
Watch Monday the 17th as the crew forms a heavy metal group "The Bleeding Frogs!" I'm sure it will be hilarious! 10:30pm/9:30pm central on MTV!

Season 4 Episode 1 of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory
Here we are, the beginning of a BRAND NEW season of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory. I am super excited that the show is back and I am also excited to begin writing my episode re-caps again. The first episode of season 4 aired Monday night and it was great. The episode is titled "Welcome, Big Black," and that is just what they did in the episode. They welcomed Big Black back into their life and into the Fantasy Factory. Just within this first episode, Big Black has already had some classic, hilarious lines. I can already tell that it is great to have him back, and the dynamic between him and Rob will be just how it was during Rob and Big.

The text in bold are memorable quotes from the episode.
This episode started off with Rob walking into the Fantasy Factory with Justin Bieber. For those of you who don't know who Justin Bieber is, he is a teenage singing sensation who has taken the tween world by storm. If you are a little bit older, think of The Beatles experience, and if you are in your twenties/thirties, think of New Kids on the Block meets *Nsync and Backstreet Boys. Then multiply the craziness by 10. That is what the Justin Bieber phenomenon is like right now.
Anyways, Rob walks into the Fantasy Factory with Justin Bieber and is greeted by Chanel. Rob and Justin tease Chanel about how she is blushing and she responds by saying "Oh my gosh, you guys are stupid!"
They walk into the factory and Rob begins to give Justin a pep talk on how he needs to be crazy and eccentric to get further in life. Justin agrees and Rob says that he got a gift for Justin, but before he can have it, Justin needs to prove that he can in fact be crazy. Bieber gets on a bike and starts riding around. Rob asks if he needs a helmet and Bieber says no.
Rob - "Hell no he doesn't!" "Bieber running wild! I've got a Wild Bieber in the Fantasy Factory!"
Then Bieber says he is going to jump the bike into the foam pit and Rob tells him that he is making him proud. Chanel comes in to watch and then Drama, being the voice of reason in every scenario, asks Rob "if he should maybe have a guard for that Beautiful little Bieber face?" Then Rob responds that he "has to believe Bieber's face is insured," haha.
Bieber jumps the bike into the foam pit and then we see a montage of Rob and Bieber doing Sketchy things. Bieber is making crazy basketball shots, skateboarding into the foam pit while being dragged by Rob in a go-kart, skateboarding on the mini ramp behind Rob's office, and driving the go-kart around. Then Rob asks Bieber if he thinks he can drive the go-kart into the foam pit. Bieber is down, and of course, he successfully drives it in, while Rob is yelling "Come on Bieber, fight that fear!"
Rob explains that since Bieber has proven himself, he can now have the gift that Rob got for him. Justin lifts up the tarp and sees a T-Rex, painted purple with the Justin Bieber logo. Justin looks SO EXCITED as Rob explains that the car is now his. Justin tells Rob that he will "Forever do crazy stuff in his life," and Rob and Justin take it for a joy ride through the streets of Los Angeles, and then the opening credits start rolling.
Rob - "Take this wealth and this fame, always stay humble, keep your family close, and do ridiculously crazy things."
After the credits we see Rob driving a fork-lift into the Fantasy Factory. The fork-lift is carrying a huge box, and Rob starts doing 360 spins. Drama and Big Cat peek their heads out of their offices to see what is going on and Rob just keeps spinning. He spins until the box falls off the fork-lift and glass shatters everywhere. Rob starts laughing and Drama and Big Cat approach. Rob explains that he was trying to surprise everyone with a gift.
Drama - "What is it?"
Rob - "It's a death box."
Drama "A death box."
Then Rob proceeds to explain that it is placed on the ground and tigers can attack. Rob is pissed off because he destroyed the box.
Drama - "You are telling me that it protects you from tigers, but it can't fall two feet?"
Rob asks them to help him put it back together and once they get it somewhat into one piece, Drama says "Dude, this wouldn't protect you from Meaty." The camera pans to Meaty with an adorable look on his face. Chanel comes over and asks what it is. Rob explains and Chanel asks why they don't just buy another one. Rob responds "Because it is 15 thousand dollars," haha.
Rob says that this should be a lesson to them all. "You start out on a journey and you have a big misstep right from the jump, you have got to persevere."
Drama - "You have got to BACK OUT!"
Rob begins to explain the reason why he wants to get attacked by a tiger. He says that while he was teaching Bieber a life lesson on how to be crazy, he realized that he hasn't done anything crazy in awhile. He has been spending so much time being an "office donkey," that he hasn't felt that feeling of fear and excitement. Rob tells them that he's found a place that will let him get run down and attacked by a tiger, and he asked if they would come along for support, if he can get the box repaired. They all agree. He turns to Big Cat and asks, "Did you ever wonder what it's like to look into the eyes of a big cat, into the eyes of a big cat?" That line had me laughing out loud.
In the next scene, Rob, Drama and Big Cat are having a skate session and then there is a loud pound on the door. Rob opens it up and Big Black appears in the doorway of the Fantasy Factory. He gives Rob one of those manly "Handshake/Hugs" and says hello to Big Cat and Drama. Big Black then walks into Rob's office and is greeted by Meaty and Beefy. He sits down at Rob's desk with Meaty.
Big Black - (referring to Meaty) "He's like 'this guy used to sneak me food, I GOTTA know him,'" haha.
Rob asks Black what he is doing back in LA and if he is here to stay. Black tells him he is here to stay and he is looking for an office to launch his clothing line. Rob offers him an office in the Factory and Black says that he doesn't want to intrude. Rob tells him it's no intrusion.
Rob - "Call it a vacation at a friends house. Like, it only gets weird if you start dumping with doors open and start walking around the house naked."
Big Black - "I don't think I'll be doing that here."
They decide that Black will stay there for awhile, and Rob brings him up to Corpo to check out his new office. Rob explains that if Black is staying here, he might need his help with some stuff, and Black agrees. Rob tells him he will be getting attacked by a tiger and he might need Black to act as a tiger and practice.
Big Black - "Who'd want to get dry humped by a Bengal Tiger..for thrills? Just piss off a big chick. Have her rush you down"
Rob - "That's not quite the same thrill,"
Big Black - "Yes, it might be."
Rob - "Big chicks don't kill."
Big Black - "Hey..right weight?"
Then Rob starts laughing and it cuts to commercial. When we get back, Drama is sitting in Rob's office, and Rob is going through a box next to his desk. He pulls out an athletic supporter, also known as a "cup" and attempts to put it down his pants. He explains to Drama that they could possibly attack.
Drama - "You might want to be in private for that. I just caught happy trail.."
Rob - "Things are going terribly wrong," as he struggles to get the cup in place.
Drama - "Dude! Adjust your junk in private!"
Rob - "It is all about preparation!"
With that, Rob calls up to Big Black's office and tells him it's time to get started. Black says he will be right down. Rob gets on the floor and tries to get Meaty and Beefy to attack him while he is wearing his protection, similar to how he tried to get them to bite through his chain suit in season one for Shark Attack.
Drama - "Dude, these two little hippos are not going to do anything."
"Little Hippos," was a hilariously perfect description of Meaty and Beefy. Beefy didn't really care too much, but Meaty was getting into it. Drama told Rob that Meaty attacking him is nothing like a Bengal, then Big Black appears at the door to Rob's office, dressed in a lion suit. The lion suit was spot on, even equipped with a tail!
Rob started slowly jogging the length of the Fantasy Factory and Big Black in his tiger suit came around a corner and started going after Rob. It's really hard to explain exactly how black was running. In my opinion, it was more of a prance than a run, haha. Either way, it looked so funny. He then body slammed Rob into the mats on the floor. After that, we see a montage of Big Black in his lion suit scaring Rob when he least expects it, pouncing on him from doorways, as Rob is walking through corpo, scaring Rob as he exited the washroom, and my favorite, as Rob was skating into the foam pit. Because of Big Black being so much bigger than Rob, we couldn't even see Rob in the foam pit! It was funny.
In the next scene, we see Drama in his office and all of a sudden a large black bear chair appears at the doorway. Rob starts growling from behind it and Drama asked if it was a real bear.
Rob - "Well, it feels like a real bear. If real bears are soft and cuddly and warm."
Rob explains he had it made for Big Black. As Rob was explaining this to Drama, he was sitting in the bear chair, and he looked hilarious. It's hard to explain, but Rob looked SO TINY compared to this massive chair. He had a few feet of chair above his head and his feet were dangling off the bottom.
Drama - "Your feet don't even touch the bottom"
Rob - "I swear to god, I feel like Goldilocks right now. I feel so pretty and dainty."
Rob had me rolling with "Dainty," haha. Rob told Drama that he got the chair for Big Black because BB loves bears and it's been so much fun having him at the Factory, he wants him to stay and keep the office upstairs.
They cut to commercial, and in the next scene we once again see Rob driving a fork-lift with a death box into the Factory, only this time instead of doing 360s, he gently places the death box on the ground. Drama says this box seems a lot safer, and Rob says he wants to see if they can all fit in there. (Big Black, Drama, Big Cat and Chanel.) Drama says he feels a lot safer crammed in there with Big Black and then the four of them get in. They close the box and Rob hops up on top. He starts jumping and Chanel screams. Then Rob pulls his pants down slightly and sticks his bare ass up against the glass of the death box, haha. Everyone is grossed out and they quickly open the door and run out of it.
Big Black - "Abort! Abort mission!"
Then Rob asks the crew if they are as excited as him, and they all have this look on their face that shows how NOT excited they are, haha. Rob goes to Big Black and says "You trained me! You know I'm ready! I took 400 pounds of THIS," and he points to Big Black. "You think I can't handle some aggressive, vicious tiger?!" and then Big Cat chimes in "I don't think so." It was funny.
In the next scene Rob is in his office, and the phone rings. It's Big Black calling downstairs and he wanted to let Rob know that he found some permanent office space somewhere else. Rob seemed a little upset and said that he wasn't trying to rush Big Black out. Big Black said he promised Rob that he would be out within a couple weeks, and he didn't want to impose any longer. Big Black said he would be looking at the new place tomorrow and then Rob said that he can't tomorrow, tomorrow is the tiger attack. Big Black said he would put it off for a little while so he could be there for the tiger attack. Then, Drama entered Rob's office and Rob was visibly upset. He told Drama that Black was considering leaving, and he said he doesn't want him to leave. He thinks Black likes it here. Rob said they are going to take the bear chair, and decorate Big Black's office, so there is no way he could turn it down.
After that there was a commercial, and then it was time for the tiger attack. They leave the Fantasy Factory and we see Rob, Drama, Big Cat, Big Black and Chanel in the car. Rob is explaining how they will be safe in the box, because basically you are fucked if he spots something and makes a run for it.
Chanel - "They don't like, tranquilize it or anything?"
Big Black - "If you tranq a tiger, he's still got about 3 minutes of good ass whoopin in"
They pull up to the spot and Rob introduces everyone to the tiger trainer. The trainer walks Rob through what will happen and tells Rob that he will have to taunt the tiger.
Rob - "Why must this big beast need to be taunted?"
Trainer - "You gotta let her know that she is coming after you. You have to get her focused on you and only you."
The truck with the tigers pull up and one of the tigers took a look at Rob and the crew and licked it's lips, haha.
Now, Big Black might have had the funniest quote in the entire episode.
Big Black - (referring to the tiger) "He's like that dark meat over there looks pretty tasty."
Just the quote itself, and the way he said it, it was classic Big Black. At this point it was evident that Big Black was back and fitting right in like the old days. My whole family started cracking up. The trainer said that everyone, including Rob, should get into the box and they will let the tigers go, just so they can see what it is like. They all pile into the box and the trainers take the tigers out.
Big Black - "That's a big ass damn cat."
Now, I was still laughing from Big Black's previous statement, but once he said this I just lost it. The tigers come over to the box and everyone is terrified. One hops on top of the box and Chanel freaks out. Rob tickles it's foot a little and the crew just takes in the experience. After that, Rob gets ready for the attack.
Drama - "Good luck man, we love you."
Once Rob leaves the box, Chanel says "I'm really scared for him," and they all agree. Rob is standing outside the tiger's cage and he turns to the trainer and shakes his hand.
Rob - "I really appreciate this."
Trainer - "Of course. I just hope I can shake your hand after."
Rob starts taunting the tiger and pacing in front of him. Big Black says that it looks like Rob pissed the tiger off, and then the trainer opens the door and the tiger lunges at Rob, knocking him to the ground. After he knocks him down it looks like he took a nice bite out of Rob's arm.
Chanel - "That fool is biting him!"
The trainers come and quickly leash the tiger up, and Rob gets up off the ground. The crew claps and Rob tells them all that he got bit.
Rob - "It's a good thing I had that cup on. The tiger pawed my balls SO hard."
In the next scene, they are back at the Factory and Rob and Black are walking up to corpo. Rob tells black that he knows he found office space somewhere else, but they want him to stay at the Factory. He tells Black not to make any decisions until he sees his new office. Big Black LOVES the office and he sits down in the bear chair. Just to get an idea of how big that chair is, even Big Black looks small while sitting in it. Rob tells Black that he has one more surprise for him, but he wants to bring everyone in before he shows him.
Everyone enters the office and Rob proceeds to explain about how Big Black was "One of the greatest male exotic dancers of all time." We then see a flashback that I'm sure is burned in every Rob and Big fan's brains, Black Lavender. If you haven't seen that episode of Rob and Big, I recommend watching it. It is by far one of the funniest episodes of the entire series.
Anyways, Rob then reveals an oil painting of Big Black, in his purple "Black Lavender" jumpsuit. But wait, that's not all. The jumpsuit is removable, so underneath it, you see Black Lavender in all his glory. So hilarious. I swear, ONLY Rob Dyrdek would come up with an idea like this. Everyone is cracking up, especially when Rob removes the piece to reveal Big Black's tiny purple thong with the BB's on it.
At this point Rob looks back to Big Black and asks him again, if he would consider sticking around for a permanent office at the Fantasy Factory.
Big Black - "I can't say no, I've got my family here dude."
Then Rob gives Big Black a hug and says "Welcome back."
Very touching moment for Rob and Big fans. Rob and the crew start clapping and singing a "Welcome back, Big Black" song to Big Black, and that concludes the first episode of the 4th season.
There is also a deleted scene on mtv.com which I thought was SO FUNNY. It is when Rob, Big Cat, Drama, and Chanel are sitting in the broken death box, and for some reason Big Cat and Drama are sitting kind of close, with knees touching. Rob says it's a "Pfaff puzzle," and Rob starts to tease them and say that when you are brothers, personal space doesn't matter. Then he went on to explain how weird it must've been when they were kids, and they just coddled each other. Rob had some line about how they had to say "No Scott, it's mom's turn to breast feed now," and I just started laughing hysterically at that. Then he said something about confusion at the Pfaff house, and it was just so funny. Definitely worth checking out.
Overall, I thought it was a great episode. So many hilarious scenes, and like I said, it is great to have Big Black back. It feels like he never left. Tune in next week to see Drama become a male model. It looks like it will be great! Mondays at 10:30/9:30pm Central on MTV!

Season 4 of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory!
We are just 8 days away from the season 4 premiere of Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory and I can’t wait! Just from the trailer alone, it’s easy to see that there are tons of hilarious and exciting moments in the episodes ahead. There is one MAJOR change to the show this season that I’d like to inform you of, just in case you’ve been living under a rock and you’ve missed all the tweets and facebook posts. Big Black is BACK! I know that fans have missed the undeniable chemistry Rob and Big share in their bromance. Now we don’t have to watch old re-runs of Rob and Big to get our fix! (Even though it is always fun to sit back and enjoy an old episode of Rob and Big.) Big Black is back for season 4 joining the rest of the cast as a series regular.
Aside from Big Black appearing this season, Rob has made some changes to the factory, as he usually does at the beginning of a new season. He has re-opened his office into the large space that it was in during seasons one and two. Rob has that whole area to himself again, and he has decorated with the “Make Your Own Luck” theme. He also decided to display all of his pro model decks again which I am excited about. I missed seeing that in his office last season. He has a conference table to the left, and a couch area with a TV to the right, with his desk in the center. It is the perfect office for a mogul like Rob Dyrdek.
Drama also has a new office which has been built right next to the DC Lounge. It has a very cool looking interior. The walls look shattered with brick showing and the Young and Reckless logo plastered up. He also has a mannequin in the window wearing the Alpine Stars/Young and Reckless collaboration. Like last season, a few of his t-shirt designs are framed and hung up on the walls. His desk also doubles as a DJ booth. It’s pretty neat.
Big Cat still has the cage as his office and the main difference upstairs in Corpo is Big Black’s new office. Big Black’s office is a standard office overlooking the factory with a huge bear chair for Black to sit in. He also has the jungle wallpaper from his old bedroom placed in a spot in the office and there is a fantastic oil painting of “Black Lavender.”
In the indoor skate plaza area of the Fantasy Factory, the only noticeable changes that I’ve seen are a huge DC Flag hanging from the ceiling above the foam pit, and a UFC Punching Machine which was a gift to Rob from Dana White. Rob also redecorated the DC Lounge with a “Make Your Own Luck” theme.
I know these changes are hard to picture from just my description, so if you want to take a look for yourself, head over to iTunes and download the FREE tour of the 2011 Fantasy Factory. It’s a 10 minute video that is sure to get you even more excited than you already are for season 4. Tracy, Tux, and the top of Talisha's head also make an appearance in the video!
Now..a few things we can look forward to seeing this season. Apparently being attacked by a shark in season 1 wasn’t crazy enough, so Rob decided to get attacked by a deadly land creature. A Tiger. I’m not sure if Big Cat has any role in this, but if I had to guess, I’d say he did.
Also, the group heads out to Louisiana for Mardi Gras and the opening of a Safe Spot Skate Spot. I can only imagine what kind of fun and crazy scenarios the crew got into there.
The crew decides to participate in a real dodge ball tournament, and creates a team called the “Dodging Devil Donkeys.” Rob gets a real live donkey as the mascot and brings it to boost morale at the tournament.
For all of the Beliebers out there, Justin Bieber makes an appearance this season and I can tell from the previews that things get pretty reckless.
There are tons of other exciting things happening this season, not limited to -
- An appearance by Fabio and The Dyrdek’s
- Drama becomes a super model
- Rowdy Roddy Piper teaches Rob to wrestle
- The crew records a song with Devo
- Chanel skateboards down a huge hill
- The group forms “The Bleeding Frogs,” a heavy metal rock band
Like I said, I’m positive there are other amazing things that Rob and the crew take on during season 4 of Fantasy Factory. I guess you will just have to tune in and find out for yourself! Don’t forget to watch the season premiere of Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory on Monday, April 4th at 10:30pm/9:30pm Central time on MTV! Follow up with a visit to my blog. I will try and get a re-cap written of each and every episode this season within a few days of each episode airing.

Season 3 Episode 12 of of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory!
Season 3 of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory is over! It went by so fast. It seriously seems like yesterday, I was super excited about seeing the season premiere with the Drama masks. In reality, it was July..3 months ago. Sorry once again, I know it's taken me awhile to get this blog finished. I've been working a lot lately, trying to save up some money for something really important that might be happening. The more hours I can work, the better. Unfortunately, that means that I have less time to just surf the internet. I'm actually at work right now, but tonight it is a little different. I am just working the lobby at a wedding...so all I really have to do is sit here and make sure nothing goes wrong. I get to have my netbook with me, which means I get to work on my blog.
Before I get into the episode re-cap, I just want to say, all in all, season 3 of Fantasy Factory was fantastic. I am not just saying that because I love the show. It really was a phenomenal season. So many hilarious and crazy moments. I can not WAIT until season four. Yes, that's right. Season four was announced! Season four begins filming in January and I can't wait to see the cast and crew's tweets to see what is going on. Also..Rob mentioned in a few interviews, Big Black is supposed to be making an appearance this season! I am not sure if he will be a series regular, or just in an episode or two. Either way, it will be great! I know a lot of fans have been waiting for a Rob and Big reunion, and now it will finally happen!
Personally, I am excited about three things including Big Black. Obviously, number one, seeing the hilarious chemistry between him and Rob. Two, seeing Meaty reunited with BB. I don't know if it will be possible, but I hope the camera captures the moment Meaty sees his old buddy again. Three...I want to see what Big Black looks like standing next to Chanel. Chanel is so tiny and BB is so big. He could probably lift her up with one hand.
Okay, obviously I am getting side tracked talking about Fantasy Factory. That tends to happen with me. Time to write about the season 3 finale of Fantasy Factory.
This episode started out with Rob leading a handful of models in bikini's into Drama's office, with someone named JT. Rob mentioned that him and JT were thinking about getting into the bikini business, and then Rob thanked the girls and JT led them out of the office. On their way out, Drama said "Girls, be safe!" and with that he raised both of his hands and did a double wave. After the girls left the office, Rob called Drama out on it and told him that he believes he might have just done the "horn-dog double hand wave." Drama had no idea what Rob was talking about, so Rob showed him what he did and explained that it's pretty much a known thing in the streets that when a dude does the double hand wave, he is acting like a perv. I think Drama got a little embarassed. Rob did it again, and this time he really got into it, with tounge and everything. It was a pretty funny scene.
The opening credits rolled and when we get back, the crew is jumping off a diving board into the foam pit. Rob and Big Cat were both able to successfully dunk a basketball into the hoop before falling in to the pit, and when Drama attempted to do it, he slammed against the mat on the wall and landed in the foam pit face first, leaving just his shoes visible to everyone who was standing around. Chanel was cracking up and described Drama as looking like a rag doll. After that, Rob explained that the diving board was set up for a charity event he was holding at the factory. It would be a fundraiser to raise money for underprivileged children to get skateboards through the Rob Dyrdek Foundation. Rob said there will be celebrities around, Travis Barker on the drums, some of the Street League pros doing a skate demo, and Rob said he might even dance a little to get everyone hyped up. Rob told Drama that he expected him to get his checkbook out and donate some money.
Drama - "Ill give some t-shirts or something."
Rob - "Hey, here we are again, it's charity time, and one of the Pfaff brothers hates kids."
Drama - "I don't hate kids..."
In the next scene, Rob and Drama were sitting at Rob's desk and Rob was eating a cookie. He told Drama to try a piece, and he asked Drama what it tasted like. Drama replied, "Oatmeal?" Rob then proceeded to sing a jingle about how the cookie tasted like Heaven on Earth. While Rob was singing his jingle, Drama was looking at him like he usually does..like Rob is insane. Rob asked Drama if he agrees, that Rob is the greatest Jingler of all time. Drama said he does agree. Rob was wondering why he never had a chance to do real jingles, so he called upstairs to Jeremy.
Rob told Jeremy he was frustrated. He was the Jay-Z of jingles and he didn't have any work. He just wanted someone to believe in him. He told Rob he didn't care what company, he just wanted to do a Jingle. Rob suggested Butterfinger, or Taco Bell. Drama suggested Olive Garden, and Rob broke out into a pretty catchy Olive Garden jingle. That jingle was funny, but I pretty much lost it when he made up a jingle about Wienerschnitzel.
Rob - "If you love a wiener like I love a wiener then come on downnnnn!"
Rob said he could make up a jingle about anything, first try, not writing anything down, just making it up as he goes. Jeremy said if Rob could put together a really good demo reel, he would get him a jingle deal. Because Rob called himself the Jay Z of jingles, Drama wanted to know if he could be the Pharrell of jingles. Rob said absolutley, Drama is with him all the way.
There was a commercial break, and after that Rob waddled into Drama's office, dressed up in a giant skateboard costume that we would later come to know as Skatey. Skatey was equipped with wheels and trucks. He was actually a functioning, human sized skateboard. Rob told Drama that he was going to have Skatey at the Sk84Life event, to represent the happiness of skateboarding. He also explained how it was very difficult to breathe and he felt like his neck was compeltely weighted down while wearing the costume. Rob said he feels incredibly sad inside, but then Drama came back and said luckily for him, he had a "perma smile" affixed on the front of the costume. Drama then pointed to two of the wheels, and explained how they kind of resembled boobs. Then Rob reached up and started playing with the wheel boobs. It looked hilarious.
Rob - "I don't need no implants, I got these wheel boobies!"
After that, Rob decided he wanted to have a skate session with Skatey. He ran out of Drama's office and landed on his belly on the concrete. Drama climbed up on top of him and rode him like a real skateboard. Rob took Drama down a ramp and Drama was pretty skeptical of it working. It did work, and then they showed a montage of Rob in the Skatey suit skating over the wild grinders area and down the large blue ramp. After that, Drama and Big Cat wanted to test the speed of Skatey going over a bump, so they took a running start and pushed Skatey over the orange bump in the Wild Grinders skate area. Rob hit the bump, flipped, and landed flat on his back, and then flipped back over to land on the wheels. I don't know why, but it was SO HILARIOUS to watch. My whole family was cracking up. Drama and Big Cat were laughing and then poor Rob was not moving, and he explained that he might have just knocked himself out. Drama and Big Cat unzipped the costume and Rob had a little gash on his head.
Rob - "I will tell you one thing. This will be an incredible benefit, but you will not find me inside this great costume."
Big Cat - "I feel kinda bad for whoever has to wear that after you."
Rob - "Well, let's hope it's not you."
After that scene, Rob goes into Drama's office, completely hyped up about making his jingle demo. He gave Drama a high five with the double J's and then Big Cat brought in a box of various items that Rob could sing about. In the box was hemorrhoid cream. Rob pulled the cream out and started singing on the spot about hemorrhoid cream. It was so funny. They all head into the studio and it was time to record the jingle demo. There is no way I could type out the jingles and it would have the same hilarious effect of you hearing them in Rob's voice, so I won't. I will just say that Rob sang about hand sanitizer, a pregnancy test, nicotine patches, jock itch relief cream, baby wipes, and butter. It was funnier than words can describe.
There was a commercial break and after that, Rob and Drama walk up to Big Cat's office, with the Skatey costume in hand. Big Cat already had a look on his face that showed how bummed he was. He knew what was coming. Rob asked Big Cat to put on the Skatey costume and come with them to a skate plaza, where they were going to hand out skateboards to kids.
Big Cat - "This is why I don't say anything, because when I do, it ends me up in shit like this."
Big Cat puts the costume on, and the front door to the factory opens up with Big Cat hobbling out. I was already laughing at this point. They got up to Rob's SUV and realized that there was no way Skatey was going to fit. Rob, Chanel and Drama were bending Big Cat in ways that a human should never bend, trying to fit him into the car. They finally got him in and drove off. Drama made a comment on how it was kind of like if someone were to kidnap Skatey, haha.
They arrive at the skate plaza and Rob introduced Skatey to a bunch of kids and handed out some boards. After Rob was finished handing out boards, he asked if anyone wanted to ollie Skatey. We hear Big Cat say "WHAT!?" in a voice much higher than Big Cat's usual tone.
Rob - "Skatey, you wanna skate for the kids? You wanna skate for the kids?!"
Big Cat - "No."
Of course, it wasn't really up to Big Cat, and before we know it, he is on his belly, ready for Skatey to skate. Chanel said she wanted to try and ride him. She climbed up on his back and she was having so much fun!
Chanel - "Woo, go faster! Yo, this is tight! Uh oh, there's stairs coming!"
Chanel hopped off Big Cat and he stopped rolling before reaching the stairs. Rob gave Skatey a big hug and thanked him for helping the kids.
In the next scene Rob met up with Jeremy in his office. Jeremy informed Rob that he got him a deal based off his jingle demo reel. The jingle was for Panasonic and Panasonic also wanted to sponsor the Sk84Life event. Rob decided that he would not only make the jingle, he would perform it at the event! The jingle was for a new product called the Jungle. It is a portable handheld gaming device. Rob starts singing a jingle and he leaves Jeremy's office and heads downstairs to Drama. He goes into Drama's office and starts making up a Panasonic jingle on the spot. Rob explained to Drama that Panasonic believed in him enough to have him create the Jungle jingle and sponsor the Sk84Life event. They head towards the Hands of God studio, and then there is a commercial break.
After the break, we see the Sk84Life party. This moment was one of the most exciting Fantasy Factory moments
for me because I was lucky enough to attend the Sk84Life event back in May. Seeing the footage brought back all the excitement of actually being there. We see Rob welcoming Pharrel, The Game, and Yelawolf. They walk the Red Carpet and we see the Mayor of Los Angeles, Dana White, and Mel B. Then we see a performance from The Cool Kids with Travis Barker on the drums. After the performance we see the live auction for the charity with Rob on stage. That was the first time I spotted myself, front and center, in the crowd. A bunch of people start donating, including Dana White and Jeremy. Then Rob looks for Drama in the crowd and kind of volunteered Drama to donate $10,000. The camera goes to Drama and he has a confused look on his face.
After that, Rob performs one of the jingles he made for the
Panasonic Jungle. He performed another one at the event, but that one got cut out
of the episode. It was REALLY catchy, I still get it stuck in my head sometimes. After the performance, we see the Mayor take a ride down the zip line, and then we see Rob enter the DC Lounge where he had a place for kids to design their own DC Shoe. Rob and Drama took a picture with Meaty and Beefy, and then Rob thanked Dana White for coming out to support Sk84life. We see a little bit of the Street League skate demo with Torey Pudwill, Sean Malto and Chris Cole. Then, Pharrell, The Game, and The Mayor of Los Angeless all jumped into the foam pit. That wrapped up the party footage.
In the next scene, Rob goes into Drama's office and tells him that the party was extremely successful. He raised over $600,000, of which Drama donated $10,000. Drama didn't recall actually saying he would do that, and Rob said he might've misread his signal a little bit. Rob decided to make a deal with Drama. If Drama could get Skatey into the foam pit, Rob would donate th $10,000.
Drama got into the Skatey outfit and Rob grabbed one hand, while Big Cat grabbed the other. They took a running start and pulled Drama until he got up to the ramp. He almost made it in...except for the fact that his wheels got hooked onto the edge of the ramp, getting Drama stuck at the top. It was SO FUNNY! Rob told Drama if he stays up there for awhile, that is worth 10 G's. That ended the episode and season 3.
It was a great episode. My dad said it was one of his favorites this season, haha. Lot's of great moments. All the episodes are up on mtv.com if you need to catch up. I still have to write the re-cap on the Hawaiian Manventure episode. That episode is not working for some reason up on mtv.com. As soon as it is working, or if I happen to get the Season 3 DVD first, I will get that re-cap written.
Congratulations to the entire cast and crew of Fantasy Factory. It was a great season, and I hope we have many more to look forward to!

After that, Rob performs one of the jingles he made for the
In the next scene, Rob goes into Drama's office and tells him that the party was extremely successful.

Season 3 Episode 11 of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory!
I've been hoping to catch up on my re-caps this week. Unfortunately, the "Hawaiian Manventure" episode is not working on mtv.com and my DVR doesn't really like to pause when I need it to. I have been waiting for the episode to work online, but now it is Saturday and it is still unavailable, so I've decided to skip that re-cap for now and write one about this past episode, "WWII 1972." As soon as the Hawaiian episode is up and running again, I will get that re-cap done.
This episode was another one of my favorites this season. It was so hilarious and so well done. The episode started out with Rob peeking out from his office, dressed in an all black ninja outfit. He sneaks over to Drama's office, and Drama has no idea Rob is there. He slides the door open and starts hurling ninja stars at Drama's wall. Then he pulls out his nunchucks and starts whipping them around, terrorizing Drama. Rob says that Drama needs to be ready..if someone runs up on him in the streets, he needs a full fledged ninja to watch his back.
The opening credits roll and when we get back, Rob and Drama are sitting in Rob's office and Rob is telling Drama how he feels really bad. He got in a fight with his mom the previous day and used some pretty bad words. He said he probably "F'd" at her at least 20+ times, haha. Because of this, he called his mom to apologize.
Rob - "Well, what do you say when you get super angry, when dad burnt some cookies. What do you say?"
Pat Dyrdek - "In 43 years of marriage, he's never made a cookie."
Rob decided to start the ACC - Anti-Cursing Coalition. His mission was to get curse words out of kids vocabularies and replace them with less offensive words. Rob said it must be destiny, because he was just about to release a new line for the DC Dyrdek Collection, and he thought within that, he could create a t-shirt line featuring alternative curse words. Rob wanted to take the style from old people, and modernize it to create a style for younger people.
Rob - "Imagine if I took their style and modernized it. Think how many great looks old people have. Old people have incredible plaids, they have great sweaters! They wear incredible vests!"
At this point Rob explained to Drama that they were going to go undercover to talk to old people. Then...he put poor Drama on blast. I felt bad for Drama..but it was SO FUNNY. Rob said they were going to talk to WWII people. Drama had a look of confusion on his face, then said "Oh." Rob asked if he knew what WWII was and Drama said World War II.
Rob - "Okay. Do you know when it happened?"
Now at this point, I knew Drama had no clue. History has never been my strong point in school. In fact, it was my least favorite subject. I hated it. Despite that, I still know what year WORLD WAR II happened, haha. I thought pretty much everyone in life had at least a ballpark idea of when WWII was. Not Drama Beats.
Drama - "Sure don't."
Rob - "Give me an idea of when you think it might have happened."
Drama - "Not even a clue."
Rob - "Give me an idea!"
Drama - "Umm....19....65."
Rob - "1965" (in between laughter)
Drama - "Maybe 75.."
At that point Rob continuted to ask Drama if he really had NO CLUE about when WWII was. He didn't, haha. Rob laughed and said "FUDGE ME! Fudge me and fudge all the baby brains in this world." haha. I was laughing so hard at this point. Rob explained that the 70s were when hippies were around. Not WWII.
In the next scene, Chanel called Rob over and explained that she had a really good idea for an invention. Chanel explained about how skateboarders wear shoelaces as belts when they skateboard, instead of regular belts, to help keep their pants up. They do that because the belt buckles hurt them while they are skating. Chanel came up with a belt made out of shoelace material, clasped together by a bra strap.
Rob - "Bras are for boobs."
Chanel - "Isn't this so much better than just a shoe lace?"
Rob - "Did you make this yourself?"
Chanel - "Uh huh!"
Rob - "This is a bra belt."
Rob then proceeds to put the belt on over his chest, similar to where a bra would be on a woman. The he sniffs it.
Rob - "Oh my God, it smells like SEX!"
Chanel - "No it doesn't! Okay, that's weird."
Rob puts the belt on.
Rob - "Oh my god, I feel like I'm in Jr. High right now. Here we go, boobies! The boobies are coming! The boobies are coming! Oh, no, it's just a belt!"
This scene was so funny. Rob tells Chanel it needs a little bit of work, it can't look like a bra.
Rob- "When you are just trying to keep your pants up, you don't want to touch something that makes you think about getting your pants off."
In the next scene, it is time for Rob and Drama to be transformed into old men. We saw the process that they had to go through to get their makeup done, and it turned out so awesome. I assume they used the same makeup artists that Jackass used back in the day. It turned out so realistic. After they were transformed, Rob was sitting at his desk, dancing, and Drama came in. They decided they needed better old person names, so they decided to use their middle names. Drama, being Russ (Russell) and Rob being Stan (Stanley).
Rob tells Drama they need to go do some research, and they are going to the senior center. Big Cat is sitting in his office and Rob and Drama walk up to Big Cat. Rob is walking with a cane, dressed in jeans and a DC hoodie, and Drama is wearing jeans and a Young and Reckless hoodie.
Big Cat - "Why are you guys 75 from the neck up and like 16 from the neck down?"
Haha, Big Cat was right, Rob and Drama did look kind of ridiculous in their young people's outfits. The next scene is one of my favorites. I think it is so funny seeing old people able to do young person activities. I don't know why, haha. Rob comes skateboarding out, dressed in old people clothes, looking like a complete old man. Drama follows, and they have a little skate session as old men. Every time they bailed, they yelled out alternative curse words. It was so hilarious.
They cut to a commercial and when they come back Rob and Drama are on their way to the senior center. They sit down with the old people and ask them about alternative curse words. "Frickin, Cotton Pickin, Chicken Pluckin, and Hot Diggity Dang," were the words that the real old people suggested. Rob and Drama then went to do some line dancing, and once again, i found it hilarious. They were moving a lot better than any normal old person, and it looked awesome, haha. They played a little ping pong and basketball, and it was time to leave. Right before they left, Rob mentioned how he wasn't only learning about alternative curse words, he was learning about fashion.
Rob - "An old person's closet is like a pot of gold!"
In the next scene Rob and Drama are in the DC Lounge playing ping pong. Rob noticed that Drama was wearing one of Chanel's Bra Belts. He asked Drama about it and Drama said Chanel told him to wear it, it would help him keep his pants up. Rob calls Chanel in and asks why she gave the new version of the Bra Belt to Drama to wear. Chanel said she worked on the design, so now it looks more like a shoelace. Drama had no idea Chanel invented it, he thought she bought it in a store. Chanel thought because of that, it meant it could probably sell in stores, and Rob said it actually had some potential. Drama tried to take it off, and realized it was like a bra. He said it was kind of difficult to take off, and Rob told him to do it with one hand, like he was taking off a bra. Drama said he couldn't do it.
Drama - "I can't do the one-hander"
Rob - "So when you go to release a bra, you use two hands?"
Drama - "Every time."
Rob told Drama maybe he should just keep the belt for practice, haha.
Rob - "That things got potential. I don't know if it has potential in my world, but if it helps Drama get to the boobies quicker, that's all that matters."
In the next scene, Rob calls Big Cat, Drama, Jeremy, Geoffrey and Chanel over and explains about how he designed an entire collection of clothes around old people style. He was having a fashion show at the DC Store, and he invited some of the older people he met last week to the show. That wasn't all. They were going to help model the old people clothing line. Jeremy and Geoffrey didn't look too amused. Rob asked Drama how good it is going to be. Drama responded with "It's very impressive."
Rob - "And that's coming from a guy that has an incredible button down v-neck with chest hair! Have I ever told you how ugly you make me feel?"
Drama - "That's the worst compliment I've ever gotten."
Rob - "You know when I feel pretty? When I'm with my dogs."
In the next scene we are at the DC Store, you might remember it from Rob's RD 1.5 shoe release party in season 1 of Fantasy Factory. The store is set up for a fashion show. Rob says hello to the old people from the senior center. They didn't recognize him because last time he was dressed as an old man, and Rob said he forgot that they didn't know what he looked like.
The fashion show gets started and Rob gets on stage and explains a little bit about what influenced his new line. Rob brings out the old people he met, then one of the models come out to show the outfit that was based on that person's style. We see Big Cat, Geoffrey, and Drama. One of the old men models was actually a WWII veteran. Rob makes a point to explain that Drama actually thought WWII took place in 1969. They cut to the old men laughing and Drama looking embarassed, haha.
The rest of Rob's line features t-shirts with old men on them, using alternative curse words. After that, Rob explains a piece that he added to the collection. Rob said HE invented something unique for a skateboarder. He explained how skateboarders use shoe strings as a belt to hold up their pants because the belt buckles hurt, and as he was explaining, Chanel was in the audience getting madder by the second. She looked genuinely pissed off. Rob saw Chanel getting mad and he decided to give her her shine. He explained that it was actually Chanel's idea. She looked really happy and proud of herself, and then Rob brought everyone out to walk the runway one last time. At the end, Rob introduced Drama to the WWII veteran and Drama looked pretty ashamed of himself, haha.
Drama - "I learned my lesson. It was 1939. 36? 35."
Rob - "Are you fucking with me right now?"
And the show ended on that note. It was such a hilarious episode. My whole family was cracking up the whole time. Definitely one worth watching again and again.
The time has come and next week (Monday) it is already time for the season 3 finale. Rob throws a fundraiser for the Rob Dyrdek Foundation and invites a bunch of celebrities to join in on the fun. He also records some pretty hilarious jingles. I am a little nervous about this one...I was there and I was front row for the performances so watch the episode and let me know if you see my face anywhere in there! haha.
Also, go to youngandreckless.com to get this week's exclusive limited edition Y&R shirt featuring Russel - Old and Reckless.
As soon as the Hawaiian Manventure episode is up on mtv.com, I will try and get that blog done. Sorry again for the delay!
